I don't believe he snorted cocaine intentionally, either.

There is clear favoritism in the anti-doping scam of USADA. How many times is Jones going to get away with shit like this? Personally, I don't want to see fighters get overly punished for taking something, depending on what's actually taken, but had another fighter with less star power did what Jones has done, that dude would've been gone from the UFC before he ever hit a pregnant woman.

Jon Jones is currently in the midst of the adjudication of the second UFC Anti-Doping Policy violation of his career. The UFC’s leading expert on anti-doping and the man charged with assisting athletes mired in a potential violation, Jeff Novitsky, doesn’t think that Jones intentionally cheated when he popped hot for a second time.

Following his victory over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, Jones was notified that he had tested positive for the steroid Turinabol in a sample collected on July 28, the day prior to the fight. He was provisionally suspended by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency. The UFC stripped the title from Jones and returned it to Cormier.

Jones’ first anti-doping violation stemmed from what was eventually deemed the reckless, but not intentional, ingestion of two banned substances that forced his removal from his UFC 200 headlining bout with Cormier just days prior to the event.

Like that first time, Novitsky doesn’t think that Jones’ second anti-doping violation was intentional.

“It would not make a lot of sense for an individual, a UFC athlete who knew, especially a championship contender like Jon Jones, who knew, ‘Hey, I’m tested quite regularly in this program.’ It wouldn’t make a lot of sense that that would be your drug of choice if you were intentionally trying to cheat,” Novitsky explained during a recent appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast.

“I think it’s come out after the fact that USADA did another test on Jon, a month or two or a couple of months after his positive test, and he was negative during that test. So that would be indicative that the prohibited substance entered his system sometime after July 7th or 8th, and was likely a pretty small amount and it cleared his system pretty quickly.”

That would mean Jones received very little benefit if he intentionally ingested Turinabol in such a manner. To Novitsky, it just doesn’t seem to make sense.

Despite his first anti-doping violation being chalked up to recklessness, Jones received the maximum one-year suspension. As such, the starting point for Jones’ second violation, minus mitigating circumstances, is a four-year suspension.

Novitsky indicated that, if Jones didn’t intentionally ingest Turinabol, the anti-doping violation policy put in place wasn’t meant to force a four-year suspension on him, and he doesn’t believe that Jones would deserve it. However, Novitsky does not have a say in the matter.

Despite being heavily involved in creating the UFC Anti-Doping Policy and being the man charged with working hand in hand with athletes to follow it, Novitsky doesn’t administer the adjudication of violation cases. That is the charge of USADA.

“Who knows where it plays out? But certainly on the surface of things, I have said, at this point in the game with that type of information out there, it wouldn’t indicate intentional use,” Novitsky continued. “That could be wrong. I don’t know that definitively, and we’ll see how this plays out.”

Novitsky indicated that Jones and his team have been working closely with USADA to try and determine how Jones ended up with Turinabol in his system, but at this point, any information about the case is confidential until Jones makes public comments or the case is adjudicated.

USADA is becoming a mess so much miss information and backtracking.

The Jones fiasco is shambolic to say the least...

Plausible deniability is a bitch.

I mean technically you cannot tell, there's always a good chance these positives were caused by a number of circumstances.

Knowing Jones and his pathological behavior it's probable that he took them last minute.

Who knows.

Teflon Jon.

I mean scientifically you should keep anything open. It's not like it isn't just his tentative opinion.

Riiiiiiggggghhhhhtttt....For the SECOND time in a row, it was an 'accident' that PEDs just mysteriously wound up in Juiceheads system.

I have some swampland I'm selling for 100k per acre for anyone buying this giant plate of steaming BS.

UFC employee talks some jive because they want to bend the rules, again, to bring a confirmed steroid cheat back, again, to draw more money vs Lesnar.

<Y2JSmirk>

So the Golden snitch acknowledges that Jones got the Cialis from a website known to sell anabolic steroids and is named something like "anabolicjuice.com" and he believes Jones is innocent? <DisgustingHHH>{<jordan}

And all the high members of the usada are all driving around in new Porsches.

give jones steroids and reinstate him under the condition he has to move to HW

We are past the point where Jones' intentions should matte rmuch. Whether or not he means it, masking agents and PEDs keep showing up in Jones' bloodstream. Reckless negligence ought to be punished.

does that include mineral rights?

the funniest part is Schaub saying its more likely that Bones had his coke cut with createine that was tainted with an EXTREMELY RARE steroid.... if the steroid is extremely rare why thw fuck is it being produced in massive vats in china that they also produce creatine in?
yep... that way more likely than a compound chemist sourcing a rare steroid that has an extremely short half life to avoid detection.

Where there's fire there's fire.

they tested his brothers sample accidentally as it was also labeled "jones." his brother popped in the NFL, and most likely they used that sample odds are jon is clean.

#freeJoneJones

So 2 years this time? Find it hard to believe that they will let him off with nothing considering they gave him a year for accidentally ingesting peds the first time.
