Favs I like: Patchy Mix, Basharat, Ankalaev, Merab.
Dogs I like: Rountree

A part of me thinks that Pereira might come out and look like a proper beast this time around, but until I see signs that he's improved I'm not willing to bet on it. Maybe livebet/hedge?
Also, I'm a huge Jiri fan but ever since he left due to his "shoulder surgery" he has looked soft and weak.
Rountree on the other hand has looked better and better every outing, and I feel like that matchup is going to come down to technique and diversity. I feel like Rountree will chip those legs down, and will be far better defending strikes to the head than Jiri.

Pyfer KO - Abus is more skilled and can hang with anyone for the first round but he fades so fast and consistently. It's not even the full first round, he has ~3 good minutes, then he starts mouth breathing and his movements become labored. Pyfer is also a gasser but he has 2 solid rounds, insane power, much more fast twitch, better chin, etc. I'm very confident that if it reaches the third round and it's close, Pyfer will have more left to push for the win/finish.

Ankalaev dec/ground and pound finish - Pereira is nowhere near as locked in these days. He's all about making money (which is fair enough). He's like Rocky when he becomes "civilized" and loses the fire. Meanwhile, Ank has never stopped grinding up in the mountains. Despite all of this, and the claims of a broken hand in the last fight, I think Pereira is simply an inferior MMA fighter. If Ank can land a takedown, I think he finishes the fight.

Zalal should win but odds aren't great. Also like Vanderford.

Merab by changing levels from long distance, wants to draw a reaction from which he continues into chain wrestling, where he uses his opponent’s balance to secure a takedown.
Sandhagen moves exceptionally in all directions, his movement rhythm is enough to create space for a reaction to defend the first zone and prevent any contact from which he can initiate chain wrestling.
I expect a lot of jabs (to the body too) by Sandhagen to control the distance, set up big right hand or knee and make advantage in output.
Pivoting all the time, restart distance to have more space to move around.
Merab takedown selection for this fight:
Jab - Single leg post.
Deep double leg on the wires.
High crotch.
Sandhagen looking for a sweep and space to get up from x/butterfly guard or leg lock too in order to threaten him and use that to get up.
Merab should look for side or scarfhold where is the best, but on the other hand... hips are free for lateral movement and this allows Sandhagen to reguard or go into a scramble.

+ 310 Cory.

The rule of "every high level rematch must be at least somewhat different" proved itself once again when Merab submitted OMalley. But this time I have hard time seeing this fight not be Ank by competitive decision. But what will change? Ank by domiant decision or maybe even a finish?

My Lord.. as bad as the skill level is, and name, for Brogan Walker.. Hardy isn't much better. Younger, yes. Crazy odds.

Basharat brothers have weak legs, Guttierez could break him with calf kicks.
Good value on Guttierez.

This is what I like at first glance, prior to all of the SS and TD props being released:
  • Ankalaev/Pereira ITD -140 / by KO -105
  • Sandhagen +330 / SS prop
  • Rountree +190 / KO +360
  • Zalal sub +650
  • Abus +230
  • Gautier R1 KO
  • Shahbazyan/Muniz U1.5 -135
  • Basharat sub +500/ O1.5 TDs
  • Yoo Joo Sang +120
  • Chiasson decision +160
  • Mix sub +185
  • Soriano O1.5 TDs
  • Brahimaj +260
  • Hardy O1.5 TDs

  • Ankalaev/Pereira ITD -140 / by KO -105 - definitely a very high probability this time.
  • Pyfer ITD. I don't see that Abus has anything for him.
  • Rountree is a very live dog as well.
