Just a note on some of the shifting odds.
Ankalaev at -275 (was -225)
Rountree at +162 (was +130)
Basharat at -500 (was -334)
Patch at -334 (was -225)

So it seems like every fav got even more juiced (except Merab. He's still at -400)
Some of those lines are completely unplayable now, so the smart play will be the bet underdogs or props IMO.

Ankalaev dec/ground and pound finish - Pereira is nowhere near as locked in these days. He's all about making money (which is fair enough). He's like Rocky when he becomes "civilized" and loses the fire. Meanwhile, Ank has never stopped grinding up in the mountains. Despite all of this, and the claims of a broken hand in the last fight, I think Pereira is simply an inferior MMA fighter. If Ank can land a takedown, I think he finishes the fight.

Well this couldn't have been any more wrong lmao. Pereira was more locked in than ever before. He was on a mission last night. Absolute terminator mode. As a fan, it's amazing to have him back. I didn't end up betting this fight.

Can't believe I killed a parlay by betting Austin Vanderford though. After he tapped I literally said out loud, "what the fuk am I doing?" LOL. There is never a reason to take Austin Vanderford as a sizeable favorite. Although he looked awful and timid compared to his short notice debut. Welcome to MMA betting.

Pyfer ITD was by far my biggest bet. The first round was a sweaty one, but I knew Abus would be absolutely done after that much action, and he was.

The rule of "every high level rematch must be at least somewhat different" proved itself once again when Merab submitted OMalley. But this time I have hard time seeing this fight not be Ank by competitive decision. But what will change? Ank by domiant decision or maybe even a finish?

Theory holds on...it just shows that it comes down to little things when two big time players meet up.
