UFC 319: Du Plessis vs. Chimaev

I like Barboza, but I get why the odds are close. He is no longer in his prime.
I like Hooper over Hernandez, but I don't like those odds. I might parlay that one.
I like MVP and Prates, so I have them both in a parlay.
I really like Lerone as an underdog. Already grabbed a bet on that.
I also have a bet on Khamzat. I'll have my finger on the trigger though. If Dricus makes it to the third round, I think it's going to be his fight to win.

Barboza's 39 and no longer in his prime but Klose is also 37 and got knocked out in his last fight against Joel Alvarez in devastating fashion. The Betway Boost for Du Plessis Dec +600 and Bet Victor Boost for Chimaev KO/TKO/DQ +400 leads me to believe Khamzhat subs him.

Solid logic. I agree haha.

DDP decision is +600 in Las Vegas without a boost.

Chimaev KO/TKO +440 is live.

How on earth is Pico fav vs Murphy, Murphy KO or dec at worst
I watched last coupe fights of Pico and was very shocked to see him as a favourite here! I admit I'm very out of the loop of MMA. For example, was fairly certain Poirier will beat Max in his last fight
But Pico seems very unready for the UFC level.

I'm heading to the casino now, early AF here but gotta get back to pick up wife and daughter at the airport. They were supposed to be back last night but flight got delayed to where they missed their connection. So, back at lunchtime today.

I have Khamzat ML closing out 2 nice parlays with stuff from prior events. I think I'm gonna make a play on over 1.5 at -190 as my pseudo hedge. Can't see an early DDP stoppage, and I think Khamzat can still win a fight that goes late so cashing it all is very possible.

I'll post other thoughts when I get back this afternoon.

The boost line for his decision is actually +750. I made an error and looked at his initial line. I could see the KO/TKO/DQ prop hitting for either guy.

Outside of Gerald winning by sub, realistically what chance is there that Michal doesn't knock Gerald out.

It feels like getting his ML juiced up to +110

Feel like I haven't seen many people discuss a cannonier path to victory. He's aged but has serious power especially in his leg kicks. When he's fresh he's pretty responsible defensively and can avoid headshots.

I do see a path where he stays behind his jab, switches stance and kicks the legs out from under MVP, using his signicant power advantage to halt the forward pressure. Think the anderson silva fight. Not sure if I can pull the trigger because of his age and MVPs speed.

Great points. Cannonier Dec pays +310 give or take.

I'm expecting MVP to put on a clinic, but Jared can wrestle and might go with that gameplan. For that reason I'm not actually touching this fight.

My picks

Murphy ML
Prates ML and Prates KO. Speaking of Prates. I didn't expect him to be so fucking massive when compared to Neal.
Elliot Asakura u2.5
GM3 ML
Loopy ML
DDP ML and DDP 1st rd sub at +2500

DDP wins via plot armor.

I think Neal could expose Prats average chin .

Expecting andrade to cash.

Barbosa is a better grappler than Karine, im hoping she takes this via dec.

Hoping Michal steamroles over Gm3 in r1

Also took Edson ko. Klose looked bad last time out. FLying knee ko FTW

I want to be on DDP but I cant. Im too biased against Khamzat and I feel he wins despite all things going against him. I guess he subs DDP quickly and Chicago gets their hero as champion.
Whatever.

I was looking at Neal but the line got worse now. It seems pretty winnable fight tbh. Neal had overall closer fight with Garry and they are all strikers. If Neil is on I think he wins a decision.

Klose has fought noticeably weak competion all his ufc career and everytime he took a step up he lost. Split over Diakese is still his best win. I always pick former greats vs forever mehs unless they looked completely shot in their last fight. I give pass for losing to Murphy.

I already bet:

Edson Barboza -150
Tim Elliott +260
Parlay: CDF, Hooper +102

CDF was -200 when I added him to that parlay with Hooper. I'll gladly bet more on him at his current line of -155.

I'm waiting for line movement before I bet other fighters.

I cashed out of my Tim Elliott bet because I don't like his current mindset and there are better ways to bet that fight.

Since CDF vs. Green is canceled, I canceled the parlay with CDF and Hooper.

I am keeping my bet on Edson Barboza.

Well I got the Murphy fight right but Asakura cost my parlay to win £200
