The sad part is that it actually has better fights than a lot of the PPV's. Not that it's great or anything but there are 3-4 matchups that are good/decent. Most PPV's are absolute garbage these days and it's been that way for awhile now.

The only way to make this money worth while would be to stack the main card with 2x exciting title fights and then 3x exciting and relevant top 10 fights.

Like Poirier vs Holloway would need to be the 3rd fight on the main card of a PPV to make it worth that money.

Merab isn’t boring at all to me, but that’s not the point, he is the champion, Sean did absolutely nothing to deserve a rematch, the fight was not close the first time, and even if it was he wouldn’t deserve it.

I don’t think it’s that bad on paper. New edition of Vicente Luque vs. Holland. Hopefully the fights that seem to be boring or go the distance will end up with finishes. Like the Merab, Bautista and I guess the Peña fight. I think Harrison will beat that ass with a finish but we’ll see. I’m not paying for the UFC 316 so ultimately I don’t care.
