I kinda disagree, I think the prelims should be loaded with Canadian prospects. There aren't many, but there are at least three or four who are probably UFC ready.

And Barriault should definitely be on the card, if he's on the roster. Not booking him for a Quebec card if he's available would be massively disrespectful of the UFC.

I'd like a great main event, a good co-main, Jasudavicius on the main card or maybe prelim headliner.

As long as it's better than the Vancouver card.

They'll probably try to get Zahabi on that card, and Font too since both are training together up in montreal now. Both those guys are ranked, so if they both get fights on that card, that would be a decent addition

The card does not need star power. It's going to sell out immediately no matter what fights are on it.
Marc Andre Barriault is a long-time company man, willing to fight anyone anywhere. He is 6-8, and on a 3 fight losing streak.

He isn't from Montreal, but he was a double champ at 185 and 205 for the now defunct TKO promotion.

Barriault deserves a chance to fight one last time on home soil. He would be fighting for his job and would likely retire afterwards if he lost. Maybe if he won.


TLDR Obviously the Power Bar should be on the card.

Probably really expensive too. I got lucky back in 2010 and got 2 tickets for GSP-Kos 2. Back then if you subscribed to the UFC newsletter you’d get a few hours advantage over general ticket sales, so I was able to get 2 great seats without having to deal with scalpers. Not sure how they do it these days.

I think depending on what happens for Miami could see Belal/Shavkat and Val/Fiorot. You'll see the usual few Canadians on it like Malott and Jasmine and Barriault but also some french speaking fighters. Could throw BSD on there, also thats why Val/Fiorot would def makes sense in the co main event.
