UFC 314 fighter pay

Not real, commission payouts are not reported in Florida.

Why people continue to post this shit I'll never understand.

Real low depending where you live. Where i live you might be able to rent a 1 bedroom

That's exactly true where I live. I'm in real estate and just finally got a couple a 1 bed apartment after numerous rejections.

Their income was in the 60s and even with a cosigner with 840 fico and 150k income and nothing adverse on their credit or background checks it was a struggle.

You are expected 3x monthly rent as income. For a 2000/mo 1 bed (which may be even slightly under the avg cost) that means you need roughly 70k annual income for a 1 bedroom.

It's a bit ridiculous.

I rented a guest house in Burbank for $900/mo around 2005, with a fenced in yard, 2 car garage. Money I made playing keyboard at Sunday Church service covered it.

I'm sure it is over $2000/mo now. Must suck to be kids today.

Yeah if you live anywhere nice in California you might as well either get ready to move in with the parents or just look somewhere else. Sucks though if it's your hometown like many of us

Where is $72k a year lower middle class? I make less then that here in Ca, and live comfortably with a mortgage much higher then the rent for the avg 1 bedroom apt.

840 Fico means little if one has no legit credit history. When I was renting, my credit score was in the low 600s and always got qualified no cosigner here in Ca San Francisco plus Sacramento, in Hawaii Waikiki, and when I lived in Tx Austin.. even with a sub par credit history.. but I had a credit history for an extended period of time. I've paid up to 3100 for a studio apt in SF, 2600 for a 1 bd condo in Waikiki, and 1900 for a 1bd apt in Austin. Learned back then real quick, that it's much easier regardless of area, to buy a House or Land with bad credit and not the highest paying job, then it is to rent under the same circumstances.

I think it depends on where you live and your current situation like wife, kids, etc. That being said, you have to factor in that this is before taxes and all these other expenses that fighters have to pay such as the cost each training camp.
Prelim fighters aren't spending a ton on their training camps.

I remember when Chad Mendes was a title contender he said his camps cost him between $6k and $10k.

It's it low class then? Bc it's definitely not middle.

Yeah it certainly is. Maybe not if you live in NYC and are paying $2,000 a month in rent for a shithole apartment.

The average income in Texas is $38,000 so $72,000 would make you upper middle class there.

Oh that's cool I'm glad you are doing well. That's what's up

My hometown of San Francisco has become a liberal sh1thole. It's like real life Twighlight Zone in some areas. Born in 78 there, finally moved for good in 2018, after moving away briefly at times for a yr or two, through the younger years. State has priced homegrown residents out of living in the City, which is now full of transplants and rich Democrats. My culture, living with parents or parents living with their kids, is normal and not looked down upon.. so I bought land, acreage in Ca and moved my Ohana onto the land with me, now we all just pay as one. Also bought a rental property that I use as an Airbnb, which pays the mortgage and puts money into my daughters savings every month. If I hadn't done either, I would've thought of leaving the state awhile ago.

Well I'm glad you worked it out in a way that works for you and your family. I wouldn't want to live with mine in the same way and I really like my family. Some things are just different for different people but it's cool you are happy and doing well

Right on, it ain't easy in this state, but we gotta make it happen. Same story for many though, no better then the next.

Now multiply that by 3 and you're looking at 18K to 30K. Deduct that off of 72K which isn't even net, and you're not left with much especially if you have dependents.

Yeah, Polynesian/Pacific Islander culture.. we are Tribal. So Ohana is who we surround self with, even bringing friends, etc.. into the Ohana in a sense. Things are different for all, but if one can't change situation, then they are using differences as excuse to stay down, not reason to get ahead. Have a solid one.

I'm pretty sure all Texas is low class

You could have just said I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about. Let’s try Maine, looks like you’d be upper middle class there too with a salary of $72,000.

Were the purses officially released by the athletic commission? These websites are all full of shit
Florida is a very UFC friendly state. Their commission doesn’t release fighter salary info so you have to be skeptical. It’s not a mystery why athletic commissions who used to share official fighter salaries started reversing course 1-by-1….UFC overtly pressuring them because they like secrecy.
