UFC 313 main card?

ufc don't have all the best fighters and they don't care either

they are closer to wwe than mlb, nfl, etc
This, they are more interest in entertainment and I don't personally have a problem with it but I'd also like to see the top fighter as well as entertaining ones

Blaydes vs Kuiev shouls be on the main card over Queen Green and Amanda Lemons like WTF.

LOL they don't put on banger cards every weekend. UFC quantity over quality.

Did you watch last weekend's card? The main card had 2 split decisions and 3 finishes.

The week prior (Cejudo / Song) had 2 decisions all night out of 12 fights.

Cannonier / Rodriguez prior to that had 8 finishes out of 12 fights.

i don't care for it but what can we do but i do think we've seen the absolute best they can do already so no loss I guess in a way

Blew their load the last couple of cards so fights like this as the main/comain tend to happen. Justin is fun to watch

Considering the amount of fighters they have and the schedule they have to upkeep, they put on good cards more often than not, even if they're not brimming with ranked fighters. I'm not here riding for the UFC like a white knight, but it's easier to look at the past with rose tinted glasses and act like everything was perfect. It wasn't.

At the end of the day, pick the cards you want to watch and ignore the ones you don't. You can fast forward through them after the fact or read up on the cards to see which fights you should watch later. Whining about it serves no purpose. The company is going to continue to saturate the market with their product to make money. The UFC has always been like this. They've just never been this successful.

100 pct.

I've skipped a few of their cards recently.

I wont ever forget how starved I was for MMA back when I first got into it, and it simply WASNT there for me when I wanted it. had to wait forever. I fuckin LOVE that it's on all the time now.

And that's fair. The UFC does have the highest concentration of top fighters, but not all of them. I too wish they would be more aggressive in signing top prospects and regional talent, but in those regions, some fighters are making good money the UFC refuses to match even if they can afford it as the fighters themselves don't move the needle to the casual fan base who buys most cards based off of the three letters UFC, and not the fighters themselves. We look at these cards as hardcore fans, yet most of us here refuse to pay for a fucking thing. Why would the UFC ever cater to us? It's all about media deals, sponsorships and live gate.

I amazed that someone on this thread admitted the UFC doesn't have the best fighters, they have the biggest roster with a lot of good fighters that's undeniable but I would prefer watching PFL, Rizin, KSW, Octagon at this point.

I had to pay for HDNet to get more MMA on TV. We used to wait months for cards in the US to air on TV. At one point you had to have the right service provider to even order a card. We're blessed with amount of options we have on a weekly basis.

And you have every right to feel that way and watch what you'd like. Others can feel and think differently. I still don't understand why you're up in arms over the card tonight if you have other organizations you prefer to watch anyway.

Tonight's card looks like an action packed one on paper with a good main event which will likely bum out a lot of people.

I can understand how some can love the oversaturation sure there are some who just will watch anything however I don't, can remember when Pride was every 2 to 3 months with the Bushido cards in between the cards were much more stacked bigger anticipation plus there was the Elite XC and UFC was even better and less saturated and better athletes imo, now you have guys that just know MT and have a blue belt in jiu jitsu with no ncaa experience that's very common now, a result of oversaturation.

I'm gonna tune into it, I'm more just jaded about their model and wouldn't really care as much if they weren't the face of the scene I don't want to call it a sport.

It's not just the UFC the Jake Paul Triller BS I hated as well and never cared how much money or eyes it attracted, it was nothing but fake carnival like garbage and personally believe most if not all the fights were staged, I never watched one of them yet so many supported an obvious farce.

Fighters don't need amateur accolades to be considered elite athletes. People train MMA now, not a single discipline for the most part.

You mention PRIDE, which I loved as well, but you forget they had fights like Cro Cop against Alberto del Rio (WWE) as Dos Caras. Every era has it's faults. Brock got a title shot off of two wins since he was a big name and cash cow. The UFC has always been money hungry and PRIDE deserves a lot of love but had it's faults too.

Look at EliteXC, Kimbo losing to Petruzelli on CBS and Shields beating Hendo and having the Tennessee brawl with Mayhem on the same channel in Strikeforce both happened. Not every organization was firing on all cylinders. Again, nostalgia is a hell of a drug. I mean, seriously, Sherk got a title shot off of winning a season of TUF, lol.

You only recall the good parts fondly.

You're upset Justin fuckin Gaethje is on the main card. Worse, you're upset Bobby Green is ?
<DisgustingHHH>
Every fight has a loser.
It's part of the sport.
Every fighter has losses,
except for the ones avoiding challenges.

Surely there's some undefeated women you're truly pushing to get on the mains,
to satisfy this idiotic casual lust.

PFL is dreadful compared to UFC.

I don't even waste my time with Rizin, KSW, Octagon.
