UFC 306 at The Sphere is in 2 weeks and there are still 3k remaining tickets....

Well that's what will happen when you make a top heavy event regardless of venue. Smart mma fans will not go to this debauchery

Why is this a dedication to Mexico? Since when do they get a special event? Where’s Brazil’s event, Japan’s etc. just because it’s in September lol? They should have just stacked the card heavy if it will be the only event held there like Dana claims.
Also why are they having it in the USA?

US literally stole land from Mexico.

Texas and a lot of the southwest was all Mexican territory up to the 1800s iirc.

Since last year, not sure if someone did it before Floyd, but for some reason iirc he started fighting around September 16th and May 5th (which isnt a big holiday down here), Canelo followed tradition.

Why? Lots of Mexican live in the US, others travel to fights, its just numbers.

Dana will say some bullshit like "This is the biggest event they've even planned at the Sphere, our gate broke every record for the venue, they had to keep people out with armed guards because the demand was so high, nobody has ever seen an event like this before, it's the greatest card anyone has ever put together..."

Meanwhile half the seats will be empty on the PPV and the press won't even ask a real question about it.
I read this in Dana's voice complete with lip licking.

Umm who wants to pay thousands for an average card with this clown as the main event?

This is not specific to O'Malley by any means, but every time time you see a guy with a shitty looking beard and wonder "why don't they just shave that shit off, it looks terrible" this is the answer. Even shitty looking facial hair is better than looking like the kid who shot up Columbine

The reason is because Spanish is the second or third most spoken language in the world. Dana wants to tap in to that huge Spanish-speaking fan base around the globe by promoting Spanish-speaking stars. Mexico happens at the largest Spanish-speaking country population of any country in the world.

So he puts a bunch of scrubs on the card? Just a give a tribute video ffs

I believe the are fighters that are populer with Mexican/Spanish Speking audiences but not necessarily popular in the US because of language barriers at least thats what I told

Damn so the UFC is out $9+ million. Those are stupid ticket prices though. Not worth the "sphere experience". Sounds like the sphere is overpriced garbage.

There are far more Mexicans in the US than Brazilians or Japanese, and there are enough white people who can get on board with a fake drinking holiday created by the alcohol companies.

Let’s see…
Watch a rainbow haired white boy VS some funny European on Mexican Independence Day on the advertised “Mexico night” in a ridiculously priced venue.
Or
Watch an legendary Mexican boxing champion on Mexican Independence Day In a venue across town for probably much cheaper.

I hate to bring race into it, but what the fuck UFC?
The oversight here is baffling.

People can’t even afford they grocery and we supposed to pay how much to watch ufc inside the Death Star?!

This. I honestly don't understand live entertainment these days. The amount of time, money, hassle and gouging you have to endure just to watch a game....or concert....or comedian. Like you could have a week vacation somewhere for the money people pay for shows. I just don't get it.
