Does he? Not being dense here, is it a rule to ask them to stand up verbally? Burns wasnt out, but seeing a fighter that clearly cant compete anymore probably most of the times does not need said fighter to answer or not, answering a call, fight until the ref stops it, intelligently defend yourself at all times, Burns was flopping on the ground begging for mercy, the only one that answered to it was Goddard, yes i think he makes a lot of mistakes, big ego, but this time, he saved Burns.

Need is aggressive. You are correct. It is not a requirement. However, every ref should verbalize their intent on a judgement call when these fights mean so much monetarily and career wise. In my opinion.
 
Casey's best win is a Split Decision over Roxy.

I don't think she should have been ranked, that's a millstone round her neck.

She needed easier opponents TBH, needed more building.
