Okay.

Again, just write that, then.

There's no reason for such shitty English.

"A cry or scream of pain during a submission attempt will constitute a verbal tap".

Sometimes these officious fuckers try to be clever when they're not.

Well I don't know what "shitty English" you are referring to but this is the exact quote from the current unified rules.
When a contestant verbally announces to the referee that he or she does not wish to continue or makes audible sounds such as screams indicating pain or discomfort.

Thats not the rule though. They posted the wrong rule. The real rule is posted.

Oh, good!

It doesn't even make sense that that could be the rule lol

Page 9.

1.Submission by Tap Out: When a contestant physically uses his hand to indicate that he or she no longer wishes to continue; or ii. Verbal tap out: When a contestant verbally announces to the referee that he or she does not wish to continue or makes audible sounds such as screams indicating pain or discomfort

This is much, much clearer.

There we go.

It’s so weird, I had totally forgotten this main event fight was going to happen, like wiped out from my memory. Somehow I thought Adesanya was busy. Like doing uhh the other things he does when he doesn’t fight

It's literally in the rules. It isn't even a bad call, it's as much a verbal tap as screaming taptaptap IMO

Thanks for that.

That should be worded as "Verbal Tap Out: When a contestant verbally announces to the referee that they do not wish to continue or voluntarily/involuntarily screams in pain or distress."

Only if you have Dana White privilege. Because we've seen multiple fighters make contact with their opponents or push the refs in aggressive manners but not get cut...Conor, Roy Nelson, Johnny Walker, etc..

Where as that one Black fighter got called out and cut and banned for life by Dana that same night, for pushing a ref. (Not talking about Paul Daley, I forget his name.. wrestler who went to Bellator.)
Stars will have privilege unfortunately. Who did Roy Nelson hit after a fight? Johnny Walker was probably unconscious and did not know what he was doing.

That's not a great example actually, the round ended in that fight. The ref didn't stop it because of the scream

‘Junior Tafa will no longer be fighting for the UFC.’ - Dana White : UFC post fight press conference.

Ok Leech, no glove grabbing or eye gouging tonight you dirty commie.

You have to scream out that you don't want it to continue, per the verbage
You are adding words to the rule that are not there.

Watch this below and remove your ignorance.
Here is a referee explaining it in plain English for those that are still trying to argue that isn't a verbal submission lol

It's in plain print? And has already been sourced here
Yes i know and you could not be more wrong.

1.Submission by Tap Out: When a contestant... makes audible sounds such as screams indicating pain or discomfort

As plain as day ^^^
