UFC 300 Build-Up

They don't need to promote PPVs that far out, not even 300. The standard routine of 1 week ahead of the card with the Countdown & Embedded episodes, pre-fight press conference etc is just fine.

The world is obsessed with Tik Tok lol, people don't have enough of an attention span for 3+ weeks of promotion lol. :p

Promotion works through the psychological effects called "priming", by which the exposition to a certain stimulus influences the response to similar or related stimuli, and the "mere exposure" effect that makes us (unconsciously) prefer stimuli we were exposed to before, probably because our lizard brain knows it's safe and it won't kill us.
Meaning: you don't need people to remember the commercial, just to be exposed to it and associate to an emotion - which is the one you try to convey in the commercial.
 
That's because they are pushing the panjota ppv hard why waste time promoting your 300rd numbered event.
