UFC 299>300

UFC stacked 299 on purpose to make Sean look like he sells PPV’s. They care most about making Sean into a cash cow.

They could care less about UFC 300, that’s why it feels so thrown together.
I've been saying this, if this card sells ~600,000 PPVs, how many would be because of Dustin vs BSD?

Is it me or main event of 299 is the least interesting fight of main card?
2 non elites fighting for BW title in rematch...

UFC 178 would like a word with you. Was one of the most stacked cards of all time which completely bombed as a PPV due to a non-marquee main event.

Stacked main cards don't sell fights. Big main events and freakshows do.

Dustin Poirier is on the card. That’s all you need to know. It’ll sell PPV’s.

Yan is washed up and Holland isn't a top 10 talent. His fights are fun mostly but that don't mean he should be on the main. But then again these ppvs have been very very watered down, even more so than usual.

holland is the B side on the fight you goof. it's michael page's debut, and the ufc is paying him big money. of course they're putting him on the main card.

I’ve been watching UFC since even before UFC 1. I’m an expert on the sport and I’d like to point out that UFC 299 is in reality UFC 300. Back in 2002, the UFC had UFC 37 in May and then had an event called UFC 37.5 in June. Back then UFC events never happened that close together so that’s why they went with that number.

Not if you consider UFC 151 got cancelled so that brings it back down to 299.

^ But there's no 176 or 233 either.
So it really should be called UFC 297.5?

This is funny because my mind was working overtime and I wondered if 300 would become 299.5 😁
