They charge it because people are stupid enough to pay for it... usually people who have too much money and don't care about anything other than it being the premier combat sport available to watch... can you blame him when people just don't give a fuck?

Yeah, I understand the atmosphere is different at a live event, but having been to one, that itch has been scratched and I'm perfectly happy watching at home. No matter where you're sitting or how much you paid for your seat, your view is never going to be as good as the camera guy's who's resting his camera on the top of the cage. That leaves (as you said) staring at a screen - probably at a weird angle and certainly with far worse audio than in the comfort of your own home or local sports bar.

Mma is way better to watch from a broadcast than in loco. The cage itself already make things hard too see.
 
It was a shit card from the beginning. Not a single good fight before Jon and Jiri. Now with Aspinall and it's even weaker.

The replacement fights aren't good and alot of people want to tell you that Jiri vs Alex exciting etc etc not to the casuals tho because they are both silent guys and don't say much dudes zero promotion for the fight. I believe a Jones-Stipe may have picked up later on all tho the interest was low due to some not believing in Stipe making it competitive but this replacement fight on the headline is far far worse with the casuals and the audience
 
NYC/Manhattan is an expensive place to begin with. I saw the NYC Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker at the Met about a decade ago.

Decent seats were not cheap. But they sure as fuck weren’t $600 That’s fucked up, imo.

And those $600 are nosebleeds. Our seats at the Met were not shitty. They were about halfway between the cheapest and most expensive.

I paid 600 for a seat in the back for Usman vs Colby 2 and won’t be doing that again. I’d pay like $200 for that. MSG is fucking huge

Wonder if they’ll drop the price or let them be empty?
