Jiri ate clean 10 shots to the head, went limp and fell back. That should be enough. Then consider that Poatan was RIGHT ON TOP OF HIM. He only rolled off because Goddard stepped in.

If every fight was stopped like this one we would never have some of the amazing comebacks we have had in the UFC. You let it go until the other fighter can’t go on, not just because the other fighter got a flash knockdown, especially when it’s a title fight against two super tough guys. Let him hit him one or two more times so there is no doubt.

The stoppage looked quick until the replays, he dropped and looked limp for a moment right after getting dropped before. That call I can agree with as he would have ended with Alex in full mount and half out of it.
