Man... was expecting Gaethje to win but didn't expect him to flatline Poirier like that. Can he beat Islam o_O
Islam is not khabib. Sure he’s good on the ground but he can’t put that pressure forward and eat shots the way khabib did. Gaethje smokes him

lmao, so now it comes down to skin in the game?

What do you think its like for every small business owner that pours their life savings into something?

You obv have very little life experience. Anything you do in life is made easier by preparing. What might seem like it "takes balls" doesn't when you do it, because unless you're an idiot you would have prepared.

From people saying "wow you got balls / your'e crazy" paddling out in 15ft+ surf... but when you been surfing most of your life and have experienced these conditions before.. no not really

A pro skater dropping in a huge vert ramp vs some kid doing it for the first time.

So some keyboard warrior assuming "it takes balls" to step in the cage like Tony did... lmao. Wake up. He's a professional fighter. Not his first rodeo.

Just such a lame take born of a shallow life.

Sorry bud, grew up in the woods. started working at 14 as a martial arts instructor. construction worker from 18-25. first college graduate in my family as 7th generation. Mission trip to Peru in my teen years, too. ICU RN from 25-28 and ER RN for the last 8 years. Been in hundreds of codes where lives were saved both pediatric and adult (and at least 100 where lives weren't saved I'm sure), been in triple digit trauma alerts involving stabbings/shootings from ages 2-82, been in the back of ambulances and even in the helicopter for a short time. I've been fortunate enough to dedicate my life to something that has some levity and stakes. I've had a pretty sweet bit of life experience. also halfsies on a small business, too, by the way. but yeah, if you ask me if any of that took balls? nah, I just put my head down and did what I did. but then I compare it to fucks like you that act like hot shit on a karate forum and I get some perspective, and realize what having balls actually means.

maybe one day you'll get it, but I don't really give a fuck. go dedicate your life to something that has stakes, or has to be done in front of millions of people and get back to me about how you know all about it cause you did what is tantamount to a wrestling tournament once.

bet you use to bench like 350 when you were young, right? and you were jacked?

cheers.

@Jackonfire did anyone post a gif of the Justin finish? Please and thank you. Put bellator on eye poke bellator is cursed.

I only watched 4 fights from the main card

Tony Ferguson vs Bobby Green was sad to watch
Derrick Lewis fight was epic
Alex vs Jan was kind of underwhelming
Main event was crazy

Overall pretty damn good card

7.5/10? It was good but not like 290. I prefer wars over relatively early KO’s though. I can see how others would like this one more than me

I missed the Prelims due to power outage in my neighborhood.

Power came back in time for Kevin Holland vs Chiesa and I noticed 2 things:

1) small cage, which leads to higher finish percentage

2) NO BLOOD on octagon floor.
Which was disappointing.

Best card of the year so far in my opinion. Fights felt like they meant more than most of the ones on 290

Crazy how Usman's friend Gaethje, did the same identical kick to knockout his opponent in the same arena one year later in Salt Lake City. I bet he still had flashbacks when he went into the Octagon to greet Gaethje. Gaethje should definitely get a crack at the winner of Oliveira vs. Makachev next.
