I don't think Aldo is washed at all, but imo this is just a bad matchup for him. Font pieced him up standing, landed a ton more sig strikes. Aldo beat Font with grappling. I don't think Aldo can take Merab down and outgrapple him. Merab isn't as slick a striker as Font, but he does throw massive volume and has gotten better with his standup.
