Right, but it was right after he landed one big elbow. So they'd look at that as being the reason he tapped, and call it a TKO.

i hit torres -110 at the best price, but i bought out since then. freerolling her for like half a unit.

i did 0.25u on waterson sub +1450 or whatever that opener was.

just not interested in having a lot on this fight. if i could've bet more on the -110 torres it could've been worthwhile action, but i think it's dog or pass over 2:1. and i'm mostly passing.

If they tap out it should be ruled as a sub...they are submitting, so it should be ruled a submission due to strikes.

I think it was ruled as a tko because the ref stopped it due to strikes, I don't think he even saw the tap. If I recall correctly Joanna was tapping while the after the ref started the process of stopping it - that's a tko.

Normally tapping to strikes is considered a sub, which I think is dumb, but that's how they call it.

The MMA world has been scoring taps to strikes as TKOs for awhile. It used to be ruled as a submission.

This is the third time in recent memory that it's been ruled a TKO.

Edit: I'm not sure if all states and countries rule taps to strikes as TKOs.
