Not to mention Omi is built like a cast iron fire hydrant making him basically impossible to take down if you can’t catch him in open space.

Well the irony here is that 71 year old Oleinik took Omi down 4 times against the fence and Blaydes couldn't hit one. Even though the fight was last year, I don't recall the build up to Oleinik vs Omi, so was there something wrong with Omi leading up to that one?

The writing is on the wall here gentlemen hendricks is #elite fade material. This might be our last chance to fade him. Im going borra ko for at least 3u and rd 1 And 2...red flags everywhere. I think we will all regret not going bigger on borrachina here. I think pig rig doesnt last a round. The style matchup isnt the greatest but i think its somewhat irrelevent here

Hendricks has a path to victory, take this big juice head down, make him work, gas him out, it could happen. Bangbus was getting takedowns and he's not a NCAA D1 champ.

If Hendricks can't get takedowns he doesn't have much of a chance at winning this fight. His reach is to short for middleweight, you saw the way his punches kept coming up short a couple inches on Boetsch. Borra will light him up standing.

Hendricks sounds so loopy in these interviews too, who knows if he'll even make weight.

I'll rewatch the tape right now because my memory recalls being very unimpressed.

In the meantime:

Johny Hendricks: I don't see a route back to a UFC title

Man so much overblown shit about Hendricks going around including this. Have that many people made the retarded decision of betting the ridiculous price attached to completely unproven prospect?

Hendricks is just being real. He says he sees himself getting back to the title, he says hes trying to learn to take it one fight at a time with where hes at right now. Its better if he says "yeah I just win the next few and im right there for the title"?

GOATdricks value is so #elite right now cause people wanna pay more attention to his weirdness rather than the fight. +220 is out of fucking control when hes a high level wrestler going against a guy who couldnt stop novice shit from Oluwale Bamgbose

Everyone's talking like it's a forgone conclusion that OSP gasses after round 1. When was the last time he gassed?
I think its odd too. Osp could easily win rounds 1 and 2 and take a ud

Definitely not betting a juiced prospect like that. My stance is just to fade it altogether with the obvious question marks around Hendricks. I could see a savvy former champion/D1 champ trashing a young prospect, but I could also see Hendricks just getting trucked.

Tim Boetsch would knock Borra the fuck out. Hendricks had a hard time connecting cause Boetsch has super under rated footwork when hes on point and kept kicking the fuck out of Johny. Flat footed Borra is gonna march forward into the pocket. This is the easiest fight Johny has had in a long time, including on the feet.

You would be so #Elite if Hendricks +220 won and you proved all these doubters wrong. You make solid points, Bangbus did take and hold Borra down. And Borra looked a little gassed in the 2nd round.

If Hendricks makes weight and looks ok on the scale then the 1st battle it won

Omie had a history of getting wrestlefucked but since he started training with that Olympic wrestler last year it's looked much improved

Sucks its Johny Hendricks cause its honestly extremely rare you get a +220 on a guy who could feasibly win all areas and is a fuck ton more experienced consistently competing against the best in the world while his opponents best wins are Garreth McClellan and Oluwale Bamgbose.

Kind of surprising it seems like im the only one taking a bet on him, more surprising some actually wanna bet Borra. Including yourself, smh hope you are just tired or drunk

I mean, I'm not bad at the bet at all -- I get the logic you're going with. It can definitely pan out that way, but like you said, it sucks it's Johny Hendricks. The dude has the skills on paper to make it happen but it's Johny Hendricks, lol. How much are you putting down on him?

Only 1u so far but contemplating more just cause thats literally the only reason not to. I stopped myself from betting 2017 Mike Kyle as properly as I shouldve tonight cause hes Mike Kyle in 2017, and that cost me easy profit. Would suck to see a replica situation happen again this weekend. Put aside the weirdness of Johny Hendricks and just watch his fights and this should be a pick em.

Think it's more the RD1 prop most us are interested in, specially as it's still +200.

I dont even get that. Hendricks isn't as durable as the iron chin in his prime, but he can still eat a shot, hes still a savy enough vet whos gonna wrestle when flat footed Borra marches in the pocket, and the Brazilian couldnt get Bamgbose out of there inside 1. Fuck that, still baffling anyone would be so confident in Borra theyd play that over Hendricks at even nicer odds

Yeah IDK what to think TBH, I just rewatched Borra vs Bangbus and was not impressed. Bangbus beat himself in that fight, if he had better cardio he probably would have won it. The fact that he was able to take and hold Borra down scares me away from betting Borra here. As long as Hendricks doesn't miss weight or look awful on the scale, then he might be a live dog.

Im just waiting for Hendricks' price to get even better. As far as I see, everyone and their mother is on Borrachinha and he will just keep getting bet.

The #elite thing to do was to hammer Borra in his debut (my biggest bet of the year), not now when he's the new shiny toy.

Hes easily a live dog. Luckily it seems most have been wise enough to point out how unimpressive he was in that fight especially with the grappling, but its really not being discussed enough that besides the melting power Borra has this is an AMAZING style for Johny and easily arguable his easiest fight in a long time. Even if Borra somehow defends tds, its been a long ass time since Johny fought someone he can dirty box against. And I don't see how flat footed who works best in the pocket avoids that. Hes gonna put himself in the range Johny has always worked best, and on tape its easy to argue he doesn't have the tools to compete there.

I dropped my unit on +180 thinking no way people are so dumb they let Borra get more inflated. But alas.....

I'm sorry but betting a -300 is not #elite, it's just easy work.

Line probably continues to rise when people see the size/physique difference at weigh ins. Moreso if Johny misses.
