Yeah its cool she is obviously taking this seriously, but confidence neutral despite that pic. At the end of the day, her MMA coach is still Edmund. Conditioning and endurance training wont fix that
More of a confidence increase in that her mind and motivation is where it's supposed to be

Confidence decrease when she looks better coming into this fight than she has looked before? Hm... makes sense lol

Maybe i wasn't clear. I was trying to say that if she thinks that she lost solely because of her fitness it's a confidence decrease.

You're overthinking it. I'm pretty sure neither she nor anyone else in the world thinks that.

Yeah edmund sucks but its her same team and regimen that won her all the other fights so....

Its fair to say we are gonna see the best version of Honda. The question is will it be enough? If HH hadn't beat her Hondas line would be -700 right now. Im switching sides to honda. Her skills in judo are still there and i dont see Nunes getting a TD.

Dana cliff notes at that pressor

-Says ronda wanted no press or media and agreed to do interviews on tv before it all, was part of the deal on her return fight.

-Dana also said ronda has said if she wins she will fight 2017, if she loses he is not sure...

-dana saying why would cain say days before the fight he can't stand for 10 minutes in an interview.....

-Discusses how ferguson asked for same amount of money as khabib and he said nope cos fergie already signed a contract. Talks about how fighters don't honour contracts and deals already signed, and how they all try and get hendo or overeem money.

-Chris cyborg should have called and said she still can't make weight, despite creating her the weight class.

-Says hendo and guys like connor take fights, while others many times say no......

-khabib's dad wants his son to rest for now....

-Says he did want holm or ronda to fight cyborg @ 145, but it did not happen.

-No other weight classes planned of yet for 2017 apart from wmma 145 div.

I'm not sure saying "If Ronda hadn't lost..." is really a fair way to view it though. She did lose. Badly. And she got smashed and the blueprint is there on how to beat her. Obviously you need the skills to do it, but Nunes striking (for a couple rounds anyway) is plenty good enough to bloody Ronda up like Holly did. The reality is that Ronda lost that fight the first few punches that rocked her.

Nunes doesn't need a TD, she needs to land some sig strikes early. Then we see how RR reacts. Will she go spastic again? Or having been through it will she keep her composure this time. That's the biggest question for me. The chance is of course always there that she gains the clinch before she gets hit, throws Nunes on her head, and subs her. But if that doesn't happen, how will Ronda react to getting her head snapped back again? That has to be the biggest question in this fight.

Sigh..I was actually liking this breakdown vid until around 16:00 when (out of context) he mentions that Floyd Mayweather fought sidesteps...When asked who didnt he fight he goes "Canelo-Canelo-Canelo.???
I mean he said he didnt like boxing and most likely meant GGG or someone like that but still......

Ok, I haven't heard from a Vettori backer any good reason to back him other then "he lives MMA now" If anyone has some legit input I would like to hear it.

Im not sold on any of these two. Both has paths to victory, but Shoeface could very well take Vettori down and keep him down because of his size alone. The lean for me in this fight is the under 2.5 @ +105. I think it's better than choosing a side. Vettori has had some gassing issues, but should have improved that at Kings, while improving and training with beasts. He's also very young and really wants to fight. He moved away from everything he knows to pursue his dream. That shows that he know he has to do something to reach his goals. I would be very surprised if he hasn't improved on his striking as well with this type of gym and him being young. He wants too stop Junior early, and he knows that he will shoot up the ranks pretty quickly with another quick and perhaps very good finish of the bigger man.

If this goes to a dec, it will only be a Junior dec by lay n pray IMO. Vettori goes for the finish, and Junior can be dangerous with his BJJ in the first round. I will not look further into this matchup, but will most likely stab the under for some action/value.

I totally agree with this. If Nunes boxes her up in the first 2-3 mins of the fight then i think Honda loses.

This fight will be decided in who controls the first couple mins imo

I think he's kinda got a point, though. No one really believed Ronda had amazing stand up or anything. She's always had one very clear path to victory, but it just happens that HH caught her early fucked her up in the process. Shit happens, its fighting after all. In a rematch, I'd still make Ronda a decent sized favorite over Holm. I personally think we're getting amazing odds on Ronda because everyone still has bloody, concussed, broken jaw-ed Ronda on the floor in the back of their minds

lol watching Cody self-destruct is the most entertaining thing of this card by far. You put one of the most opinionated, confident, and intelligent guys in mma and you put him against meathead Cody and you get magic.
