so i know a lot of people are fading hendricks, but he's only EVERRRR been finished by wonderboy. hardly any shame there. magny is nowhere NEAR the prolific striker that WB is. has hendricks ever even been threatened by a sub? gastelum never even hurt him, just had better output etc

hendricks could still have pop. magny can be hurt.

love the hendricks NSC.

pyle rd 3 +1325.. shoeface +1275.. sure, why not

that garcia cardio..

I'm heating up to Hendricks a lot lately so I like this too for the exact same reasons you laid out.

Also, Magny tends to get rocked in almost every fight or have a period where he looks like shit is going down hill. I don't trust his durability and he's not going to outwrestle Hendricks. It's hard to trust the narrative stuff with Hendricks, but if he does indeed feel focused and amped for this fight with his old coaches back, I could easily see him landing a KO on Magny or winning a decision if he decides to use the wrestling.

I'm curious on the +3.5. Only fight that I have not bet on.

i have like 4 or 5 fights i haven't touched, but man, i'm loaded up on hendricks now. it's risky, cause i NEED him to show up in good shape at weighins tomorrow

just food for thought:

ALL 11 wins for thatch are round 1 stoppages.

Thatch TKO is +165 while Thatch round 1 is +175. Not worth it

no doubt. just sharing some info if people didn't know.

i.e. maybe that makes you wanna do U1.5, or does not start rd 2 both guys, or the ko, etc

or maybe it helps bolster people's opinion on his opponent's line based on that

You right. Didn't consider those

Of course but you can't just assume it would negate everything BC was able to do. He probably had 15 lbs at most on Brooks. When Frankie Edgar was a LW every single guy he faced had more than that on him yet he out wrestled everyone lol

It's not just the size. It's what dehydrating a body does to it vs not having to. Why do you think we watch weigh ins here and fade guys that obviously have a tough cut? Not really cutting at all is a big edge in terms of how your body operates in the fight. The fact that Cowboy didn't drain himself like Brooks did is an obvious advantage for Cowboy. How much can be argued for sure. But he gained an unfair advantage, that much is undeniable.

Hendricks dec +289

Too juicy, fuck waiting for weigh ins i'm hitting it

Also hit Borg dec and BC dec now that they are both back over +200

Someone convince me to take Borg in my parlay.

I know Smolka gives up horrible positions on the ground freely, but will Borg allow him to get out of those spots like everyone else? Will Smolka win the scrambles or hurt him on the feet?

Seems like Borg has minimal options if he doesn't hit the double leg into top position and he hasn't been at Jackson's long.

Smolka has no tdd. He is good at getting up but gives up his back to do so and borg is easily the best grappler he has fought. If he gives his back to borg i think borg will stay glued to it. Richie vas was 2 0 until smolka landed sweet chin music and smolka nearly gets choked every fight see cariaso seery and of course moreno fights. I think smolka is gonna struggle to get back to his feet here. Even paddy holohan outgrappled him in r1.

Supposedly Meltzer hinted at the idea that Ronda got him fired through WME-IMG.

Post from reddit referencing the podcast:

Not the newest one but the one before it in the WO Radio. They were onto MMA segment and talking about Rousey's no media clause. The other dude with him said something like "Calls into question what else she can earn control over" and Dave said something about how she (felt that she was) being disrespected and insulted by Goldberg in the commentary fight and (Dave said Ronda claimed) that Mike defamed her and lowered her reputation/value. Then Dave said "and of course he's now, you know, uhh 'leaving' soon"
