Kinda hoping Cain pulls out because I'd go big on JDS too. Werdum has been fighting really wrecklessly lately. That might work against a guy like Hapa but I think JDS will put him to sleep again. Bad stylistic match-up.

I don't know how reliable this is and even if it's true how much impact it'll have on the fight so take it for what it's worth but at the 14 minute mark schaub starts talking about the staredown between nunes and rousey at ufc 205 and rousey got booed and apparently afterwards had to be consoled in the back because of it.

I believe there will also be no fight week media from rousey. I know rousey likes to fight with a chip on her shoulder and i am hesitant to attach too much value to stuff like this but to me these things just come across as red flags.

It was good to bring up, I'm sure not everyone was aware of that. To be fair besides some of these obscure interviews Card posts I do a lot of homework and know basically everything lol

Now that he's @ +120, I think I'll bet a little.

Reasoning:
This will be his 3rd fight in 2016 and 3rd fight at Tristar.
It's also his 3rd camp with a real strength and conditioning program supposedly.
Before that he trained a lot with greco roman beast Dan Hendo.
He's lost to Rory and Story in the last 5 years

His striking is pretty crisp. He can fight southpaw so he can hit outside leg kicks against the southpaw kim.
His boxing is not as impressive but he does have nice check hooks that should keep kim honest.
His TDD is so good and when he gets taken down he's right up.

In his last fight he had a huge cut on his left knee that was glued shut and it appears to have prevented him from throwing it and maybe even training properly.
Story is also a power house in the clinch and even out clinched Johny Hendricks.
DHK is a judo chop master but he's not as physical as story imo.

Also something to keep in mind and correct me if I'm wrong but DHK has been out for a year and only had a 6 week training camp as he's a replacement for Matt Brown.



I'm on Saff as a dog and pretty small. I can see him getting suffocated in the clinch but I think it's a lot less likely than some suggest.

yeah i was watching tape last night and i agree with everything. kim has good judo and is very strong from top position but i think tarec can hold his own in the grappling department (he was at a wrestling heavy gym, team quest for a long time).

the big difference will be the standup. kim is very fundamentally flawed and was getting beat up on the feet by josh burkman. the way kim leaves himself open will be a literal christmas gift for saffiedine.

yeah kim could win the fight by fence smothering, but i think it's more likely he comes out to brawl and gets cracked repeatedly. saff isn't a power striker but i wouldn't be surprised to see him finish by tko here.

i have a pretty large bet on means and if he wins i'm reinvesting in saff for sure.

You could be right. But he's already posted several times now about NFL. Robbie was from the UK and (afaik) had no interest in american sports. I would be quite surprised by Saff finishing Kim, barring an injury. Kim has been finshed by a rib injury (Maia) and legitmately by Woodley and Condit. Saff has only KO'd one person in his whole career. The more I think about the fight though I agree with Mkess that the over is the best bet. I already have 1u on Kim, but will probably add one to the over, whenver fucking Bovada releases over/unders.

I can understand where Honda is coming from. She has been the fan favourite forever and now if the public turns on her it could be hard to process.

However, this happened a ways out from the fight so she will have time to deal with it and come to the fight ready.

I mean where Rhonda's head is at is the main question on this fight. If Honda does some spazzy shit right before the fight then I may take heed.

People behave differently when their back is against the wall. Conor behaved very differently going into his second fight with Diaz. Conor knew if he lost that second fight his hype train was done. His career wasn't over but all the hype that propels his image would be completely diffused.

I think if Honda loses this fight she is done. Her GOAT status is in jeopardy and her overall career is likely finished. Therefore it makes sense that she is a bit intense and doesn't want to do media. The fact that Honda doesn't want to do media shows me she is taking this hella serious.

I don't think Ronda is Ronda, even on that interview she was discussing how she does not need to smack talk or sell the fight and then she comes in on fight week saying no to media press and media scrum.

Has she forgot she is an ufc employee ? this is almost as bad as gsp sitting at an ufc pressor alone again.

I think ronda wants to turn up, judo toss and arm bar and get ufc gold again just so ufc can get holm vs ronda II set up.

Anyhow still liking Nunes r1-r2 finish, then live bet ronda if she is in ok condition of course.

Liking Saff decision, may hit a flyer on saff split decision prop also but yeah like him as a dog here.

Saff is a smart fighter, he just needs to make the bigger fighter in DK work here and he has shown excellent footwork and leg kicks in the past, just has to escape those clinches and grappling exchanges if he can.
