LOL lying about you? So are you denying you're sending weird ass PM's to people out of nowhere?

Last post in this thread? How about just go away permanently. I don't give a F if you don't want me to respond you troll. YOU sent a PM to ME out of nowhere. Not the other way around, or did you forget that already genius?
I don't mind Jack so much. Yes he is a delusional nutjob but at least he keeps the post count low. Robbie was clogging this place up with pointless bravado and endless arguments.

Robbie didn't let things go, but he was funny and a good capper.

Jack must have a low post count because he's too busy randomly PM'ing people to talk shit out of nowhere with totally inaccurate info. 9 years here, I really don't need someone sending me PM's baiting me and calling me "middle aged :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:" for no discernible reason at all. I mean, he WAS half right I guess. I am middle aged. But seriously...

The best is when your 12 yr old daughter who shares your email sees the email and opens it to read his verbal garbage.

Hey dad. What is with the guy saying he's gonna fuck your :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: ass up? Weird he'd want to fuck a :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:s ass up. But I don't judge.

Oh, never mind that daughter. It's just a psychopath on the Internet.

Btw haven't had a chance to read through the thread but I absolutely love Borg her at anywhere around evens. Pissed I didn't get in on him as a decent dog.

Think this the perfect style for him to show off his grappling. Smokable doesn't have very good tdd and a tendency to give up his back and bad positions on the ground at times.

I think we're gonna see vintage Borg here, getting pretty easy tds with his wrasslin and speed on his shots to put Smolka on his back and we all know how dominating Ray can be with his top game. Really like him to get on top consistently and either grab a sub or get a comfortable Dec here.

Louis is no joke obviously, hope it doesn't seem like I'm underestimating him, I just think Borg has a great matchup that fits his natural style perfectly.

Yeah dude has issues. My sincere hope is that he's some idealistic angst ridden 15 year old who someday will look back on it and laugh at himself. That's probably wishful thinking.

My daughter is only 6 and still shielded for the most part from knowing there's wack jobs like this guy out there. Can't wait until I'm in your shoes explaining that type of stuff LOL. "Well kiddo, you see there's just some really messed up folks out there..."

Dude come on, don't derail the thread w your mma talk...

Jk man I'm on smolka though I kinda think his brain fart in the last fight is still causing some bitter thoughts in people's minds

Yeah his stock's dropped a bit for sure after that last fight. Both guys are good young fighters, should be a fun fight with a lot of good grappling.

Care to expand on Elevation being death of TJ? Keen to hear your thoughts.

I am getting this second hand from a friend that is a pro but I heard it is not very family like and very much like a bunch of mercenaries in that they are all there to make money. No real personal love.

TJ just seems to me to be a guy that needs a family to support him. Thats why he did so well at TAM. I don't think he has that t Elevation. I think in a lot of ways he wishes he still had TAM to train and support him while still making his money at Elevation but that's just my opinion.

I think he loses this fight.

TJ can wrestle too, better than Cody by a fairly wide margin I'd imagine.

Dom still hit strategic TD's against TJ that helped him win rounds.

Agree about Cody's power, it's the real deal. I don't think he lands the big shot, but if he does there's no doubt he can hurt Dom.

Cody KO is the easy hedge for those of us betting Dom.

I don't disagree with anything you say but what if Dom can't take him down? I've watched all of Cody's fights and it's an unknown to me on his true TDD. I'm not sure anyone can say how he will do in that area either way....

I'm not going to deny that Cody has power, but I think it's important to put it into perspective. He just dusted Mizugaki, someone who Wineland did the same to and Cruz even (T)Koed him. Mizugaki clearly is showing how hittable he is and how he can be put away. Before that was Almeida who has been rocked in a lot of fights and very hittable. It took a few to put him down as they were in many exchanges that Garbrandt clipped him on. Before that, it wasn't anyone of note and it wasn't like he had all early KOs. I think his big KOs that got him the title shot were against guys willing to stand in the pocket on several occasions.

You can maybe make the argument that Cruz hasn't faced anyone with his boxing or power, but on the flip side, this is a HUGE step up in competition for Garbrandt and he hasn't faced anyone even in the ballpark of Cruz when it comes to movement and wrestling.

I don't deny that Cody hasn't faced anyone like Cruz but how do we know Cruz is that much better than Cody. Cody is tough and hasn't shown any weak moments. I think Cruz will be faster no doubt but I don't think you can say the Almeida put out wasn't impressive. Almeida was one of the hottest prospects at the time.

I just think age and injuries could catch up to Cruz here and I like the Cody price.

Well it's not like we're talking about Khabib not being able to hit TD's.(Meaning it's not like Dom is lost without his wrestling). Dom is primarily a striker too, just mixes in TD's to keep his opponents guessing and help him win rounds. It's not like he'll be lost if Cody stuffs a couple TD's. In fact just the attempts will be giving Cody something else to think about.

Cody generally prefers to counter which probably naturally helps his TDD as he's not constantly moving forward looking to press the action. I think Dom will be able to mix in some TD's, but definitely wouldn't shock me if Cody's TDD held up too.

I don't disagree that Dom can strike but Dom can't hurt Cody imo. I just see this being a potentially weird fight where Dom does and jumps around with punches and lands but doesn't hurt Cody and Cody lands some bombs and either knocks him out or splits. I may have mismatched Cody but he's won me a lot of money for a while and I think Cruz is on the decline.

Oh boy. From his column he just tweeted out, Brett Okamoto writes:

" Nine days from now, Cain Velasquez will face Fabricio Werdum in a three-round heavyweight fight at UFC 207 in Las Vegas.

Amazing, considering the fact it's currently difficult for Velasquez to stand upright any longer than 10 minutes due to pain in his lower body."

Amazing, considering the fact it's currently difficult for Velasquez to stand upright any longer than 10 minutes due to pain in his lower body.

Velasquez, 34, is experiencing pain in his right leg, due to pressure on his sciatic nerve caused by bone spurs. Earlier this year, pain in his left leg forced him out of a scheduled title fight at UFC 196.

"It's an achy pain that goes down your leg and it gets to a point where if you're standing for 10 minutes, you have to sit down," Velasquez told ESPN.com. "If you're going out for a while, a half-hour, you know it's going to be pretty painful. You have to sit down and take the compression off your back.

The option of pulling out of yet another fight (something Velasquez has been forced to do multiple times) was discussed, but ultimately he and his team found a different solution: Cannabidiol (CBD).

"It's the only thing that allows me to still train, and I'm not taking a harmful pain killer into my body that I'll later become addicted to," Velasquez said.

CBD is not a banned substance under the UFC's anti-doping program during out-of-competition testing. Velasquez plans to discontinue use at least one week prior to the fight, in order to stay in compliance with the program. He also plans on receiving a cortisone shot to help with any pain.

The in-competition window is six hours prior to weigh-ins through six hours after the fight.

"As far as preparation, I've done everything," Velasquez said. "I've sparred, wrestled. I'm not missing workouts at all. I've done my conditioning -- everything. I feel great going into this.

If this is true, there is no way Cain gets cleared.

I'm on board with the fact Dom won't hurt Cody most likely. The thing is, Dom maybe more than anyone in MMA knows EXACTLY what he is. He'll talk about knocking Cody out, but it's just gamesmanship. If Dom was forced to tell the truth and asked how he envisioned the fight going, he's gonna say it's him making Cody miss and outclassing him for 5 rounds.

What is making you think Dom is on the decline? The injuries? That's fair, but he looked great vs TJ. I didn't see any evidence of a decline.

Dom showed vs Faber he has been working on finding ways to incorporate sitting down on some of his punches while sticking with his movement heavy style. Say what you will about the game passing Faber by, but not since Mike Brown has anyone come as close to KOing Faber as Dom was

Is it possible Codys power is getting a lil overhyped

My man, welcome to the right side. I've got 4.5u on the Tazmexican Devil

Exactly why I'm favoring his -5.5 over his dec line

Has nothing to do with him getting subbed, it's about his style vs. Borg's style. Just as Smolka fights nothing like Scoggins.
