Why would I have to know you, whatever you mean by that, to judge the basis' of your argument? I was commenting on what I was reading in the most harsh way possible and simply that. You know what I don't like? Insinuating i'm being illogical and saying i'm one sided cause "I get excited", especially when my arguments are just as logical as yours. Sorry if I took it the wrong way, but i'm honestly not excited and maybe thats why I did? Coupled with telling me I am blinded to a two sided argument. Like I said, I can make an argument for Stipe and a better one than "Roy Nelson hit Overeem", I just believe Reem will win so have to like + odds.

Just noticed his past 2 wins are both by heel hook. Apparently he is fighting at Rizin 2 this month against a Jap with zero pro fights

Same feel weird about this fight. Caio could cause some issues here, tavares a much better technical striker but Caio's got power and Tavares isn't really a finisher. Could end up pretty close on the cards. Tavares hasn't fought since Wittaker ko'd him well over a year ago but then again Magalhaes been off a longtime as well. tough fight to cap here, slightly favor Tavares but might end up on the dog, feels like this could end up being a pretty unpredictable fight.

Sure man, maybe I was too harsh, sorry about that. It was the "not giving ground" part coupled with my excitement as reasoning for that that felt a bit dismissive when I was doing the same as you, giving my case.

Our discussion wasn't about capping, it was about fight analysis. Again, I apologize I was rude if you genuinely weren't trying to resort to being dismissive when we're just discussing a fight, but if you want me to remain honest, when you can only see Nelson landing and not HOW he landed and how it might differ vs Stipe and you call everyone who has KOd Reem with a punch a boxing centric fighter, I personally can not call that good fight analysis. With those types of arguments, it would've been very easy to say the same about you in regards to giving ground and being excited (which you admitted to, granted)

My point on boxing centric was that they were standing boxing when they beat Reem. Sure they were not James Toney, but they were not Lesnar either. They were decent boxers. Shit, it's even worse if Reem is getting beat standing by shitty boxers who rely on wrestling.


Anyway, we obviously have a difference of opinion. I'm wrong plenty.

Just keep in mind that the non stop badgering of every point a guy makes when u disagree with him and insulting guys will push some very productive clappers out of this forum. It actually already has.

Can I ask why? I would have included Tavares in a big parlay with Taisumov but when Taisumov was removed I just took Rivera straight. I really like Tavares here he has a big advantage standing. I get the chin concerns but after watching tape on Caio I'm not sure he is that big a puncher. IMO he stopped Smith due to hammerfists to the back of the head and Smith is chinny as hell anyway, and the other guy he stopped was due to a body shot which is more about perfect placement and timing than power. Caio is wild as hell and slows down. I think Caio r1 is the perfect hedge is that is your style. Tavares is far more technical standing and i think he can mix takedowns in as well if he likes to keep Caio honest. Caio is pretty bad off his back see Vemola and Samman fights. Caio also trains with Glover in his garage - he used to train with ATT and Nova.

I respect everyone's opinion here including you three, you often make solid points, but your constant bickering and unwillingness to take other peoples opinions on board, and subsequent clogging up of threads is seriously making me not enjoy this place as much any more. Arguing over the internet is such a waste of time, jeez. Yes you can go back and forth but most the time it's you guys arguing the same point over and over.
