I have always though and still think there was something seriously wrong with JDS that fight. I had decent money on Reem that fight. But I saw what I saw. That JDS was a very unmotivated out of shape fighter. And I sincerely believe he was not there that fight.

If not for that fight. I believe Stipe would be -180 or higher here.

Not saying I'm right. But I believe my eyes on what I saw that fight. Reem fought well, but that was a fucked up JDS in there.
Well I guess well find out Saturday. If Overeem wins in a similar manner it will leave little doubt he is just a horrible style matchup for boxing centric fighters rather than JDS having a bad night.

Maybe, but if not for Werdum fighting ridiculously, where would Stipe be here?

Me too, and even though he won I thought JDS looked slow and not himself vs Stipe too. I actually scored that fight for Stipe (though it was close and in no way a robbery). I have to think JDS had injury or o issues for awhile that must now be fixed. I honestly thought he was done and bet Rothwell against him based on that. Then he came out and looked great.

Boxing Centric? Reem loses plenty to boxers. The best he ever looked IMO was against Big Country. And even then Nelson clipped him in the 3rd when Reem started to slow.

If Reem does not put Stipe away in the first 2. Do u think He will slow? I mean he always does. And Stipe seems to have really shored up his cardio.

I'm starting to feel

would be unlike anything brooks (punk) have done so far in his entire career, more realisticly he's the real life version of john favreau's character pete becker from friends. in that it'll probably take someone stepping in and keeping him from doing this, for him not to keep doing it. he's an adrenaline junkie, just look at how he wrestled when he was at roh.

gonna be weird as fuck hearing 'cult of personality' in the ufc.

Reem NSC +125 is better than his current ML for those pondering a Reem play.

Shhh, you're giving away my live bet strategy lol.

All this said. Of course Reem can win. 2 HW here and Reem is legit. He will always hit hard and of course he's a great kick boxer. I just think Stipe has as great if not a greater chance to KO him. And like I said. I think his chances of a win dramatically improve the longer it goes.

The arguments some are making in favour of Reem are all well and good but no way can I trust a fighter with a chin like his with my own money. If Stipe catches him (and I believe he will) Alastair's going down, simple as that.

No he doesn't. First of all, he's a much different fighter from a strategic standpoint under Jackson-Wink. Second, of all the guys who wanna just throw hands at Reem, he's lost to two. Rothwell, and I'm being lenient giving you that one since his not a boxing centric fighter and Reem just bull rushed him til he got clipped, and the Kharitonov rematch which I don't even remember to be honest.

Nelson clipped him cause of all the volume he was throwing and aggressiveness on offense, you do realize that right? If you're telling yourself "Roy Nelson landed a punch, that means Stipe can" that's false logic cause what are really the chances Overeem throws flying knees galore at Stipe?

And back to the Nelson fight, did Reem gas there? No not really, especially in comparison to his other fights, and he was working hard for 15 mins. Keep in mind Jackson-Wink is at elevation. Not saying his cardio is better than Stipes, but I feel a lot better about it with him at Jacksons and fighting more cautiously, and after that Nelson fight and even the Mir fight somewhat

LOFL!! No doubt.

I was actually not even researching this fight because of price. Was even considering a blind play on punk.

Then I actually watched Punk training. I literally had to rub my eyes while watching it. I'm amazed he's even going through with it.

i'm going through applicant-photo-withdrawal, jeff.

Look. U are not gonna give any ground. I saw him slow in the third against Nelson. And I also saw him slowing in the second with AA. If u saw different. Then so be it. I'm not the only one that saw these things. I understand u really get excited once u make up your mind on things and that's why when I post I usually say IMO or this could also happen.

Keep in mind conserving energy is far easier with plodders like Nelson and Mir than athletic fighters.

And also to your NO he doesn't to losing to boxers. Really? So he loses because guys take him down and lay on him. Come on man. Seriously, no need to argue everything. The guy loses to guys who catch his chin with punches. They were all boxing when they beat him. They were not even shooting for takedowns.

Bottom line Reem is a talented Heavyweight with Mediocre stamina at best and a weak chin at best. And he's fighting a HW who hits real hard and has great cardio.

Haha I remember those friends eps with Favreau. Those were hilarious, talking about mma way before most people knew what the fuck it was. I've seen like every ep of that show, I'm pretty sure that's the whitest thing about me, and I'm pretty white.

Yancy sub line better than I hoped for +500 Hit that for 1.5u, would put more but don't want to get burned on such a specific prop and already have a little on his ml anyway. Still love that line. Spencer very inferior grappler, Yancy has long limbs and a nasty guillotine, can probably take Spencer's back and rnc him or arm triangle him if he gets him down as well.

Fucking lol at people arguing about the main event. If Reem lands on Stipe clean he will go down too. Wasting your time.

Yeah he will but I'm not sure Stipe even needs to land clean for Reem to do the stanky leg. That's the difference.

But will he stay down? Or get up like the iron chinned Browne & Bigfoot?

And Bro. Don't laugh out loud at others.
