I'm watching the newest episode and god damn bro Punk looked like a fucking savage
 
I think i've decided to just livebet McCall vs Borg after tape watch, unless I can get McCall dec at like +200 which isn't happening. Borg's stand up was atrocious in the Scoggins fight. Zero offense and was a heavybag for Scoggins kicks all fight. Only times he caught Scoggins with a punch was when Justin would get too confident on the offensive. Not to mention, Borg was pulling guard!!!! Anyone who pulls guard who is not a Demian Maia level grappler is basically just communicating 'Idk wtf to do out here'

But the McCall red flags + the fact Scoggins never got into the pocket where McCall likes to throw hands + Borg working with Brandon Gibson now is just too much for me to choose a side.
 
Not gonna lie seeing Duke, Woodley and Pettis smile at Punk whooping that dude like he's their kid who just won first place in his first race hit me in the feels a bit
 
Best shape of my life, it will show this Sat, fight won't go the distance, will be 2 or 3 rounds, I'm very confident, I don't lift anymore, it's all cardio these days

Econoreem has been alive for a long long time IMO. He is still a glass cannon.

The guy that fought Bigfoot to a safe decision (until he got caught) was Cardioreem. He went for the kill against Browne, Ill give you that. But Cardioreem also lost to Ben Rothwell.

He may have done some adjustments but I think he is still the guy that wen 1-3 as a favorite against guys he should have beat.

Idk about your memory on that Bigfoot fight. He went pretty damn hard, definitely not looking for a safe decision, and hard to call him cardioreem in that one when only reason he got KOd was from gassing.

IDK... I will rewatch tonight but I remember him taking BF down and being pretty economic with his ground and pound until the end of the round. Considering BF is the worst BJJ black belt ever and sucks from his back.

Overeem is going to gas everytime he is forced to fight no matter what. His cardio has been sucking for like 20 years and it is not going to change overnight. You make CardioReem work and he gasses.

I think the question is if Stipe can hang in there and make Overeem work for a while. In the later rounds it all comes to who wants it more and who is thougher. I think Stipe has the edge in both. Lets be honest, we have seen Reem quit in the past.
 
Jesus Christ you guys underrate Overeem so much. If he lost to Struve like Stipe did you'd probably all be clowning him for it.

Rewatched fabers/riveras last 2 fights, faber imo did not look too declined, style wise he was always going to struggle with cruz, cruz is in his prime, still has the much longer reach and jab and foot work to give faber issues all night. Against saenz, on 2nd watching faber actually had a close r1 and close r3 but in r2 he almost finished saenz and half gassed himself out but he deserved the nod.

I think style wise rivera still edges this fight, rivera has good take down defence as well as foot work defence backed with his power punches, he is often able to keep up a pace for a good 2 rounds but slows down a in r3 but not by much, munhoz showed us however clean punches and shots can give rivera hell. Faber depends on his overhand right and uppercuts, knees in clinches and still lacks the speed or consistant offence to really land clean long accurate jabs. Cruz would handle rivera style wise.

Otherwise bare a faber punch unbalancing rivera for a bit, rivera should get the nod, I think fabers chin survives so think rivera decision maybe a worth a stab.

Fair point about Reem always having cardio problems, but I think its fair to say Jackson's has helped with that. He trains in altitude out there, according to interview Card posted does nothing but cardio, and he held up fine vs Nelson in a fight where he was throwing a lot of high energy moves (flying knees galore)

Bro no one at HW has a good enough chin to withstand bombs these huge guys throw besides Nelson and Hunt

There are definitely guys who go down easier like Bigfoot, but if Reem lands one clean power punch against Stipe he would get KTFO too.
