Schaub is a fraud when predicting fights. He'll pick 3/4 main card fights wrong, but he'll get the main event right and act like he's a genius.

He said Conor would win an easy decision and acted like Nostradamus but didn't mention that he picked Glover to beat Rumble.

In the same video I posted he still says the fucking Travis Browne fight was stopped early...

I remember he was on rory and i was huge on wb. Thats the only prediction ive heard him make.

Faber struggles when forced to stand you only need to watch his fight with fran rivera to see that. Rivera is a bull of a man im pretty sure faber cant get him down. Rivera is the better boxer faber will not win a three round standup battle. Hes talked about retirement loads isnt improving either and is he fighting for a pay cheque whats his motivation now? Rivera is young and hungry and should be improving fight to fight.

Lol no he's not

He called Werdum beating Cain, that's about it

As far as fighters go he's one of the most unknowledgeable I've come across. He's a fucking moron.
Rockhold beating Weidman, Conor by dec in the Nate rematch, Conor over Aldo. Hes not gonna get everything right, but his insight is usually educated

A few main event fights here and there sure. Being a huge Conor dickrider was probably the reason he picked him both times. He's def got more wrong than he has right.

Shaa(r)up at least understands it's all about matchups. Calling Glover over Johnson wasn't outlandish, he always has some at least tangible logic behind his picks. That said, he's not as skilled as us, and tend to overvalue some things and forget about others. (Oh my god it's his hometown, etc)

Rivera impressed me the most against Munhoz. Still I'm having a hard time betting against Faber as a dog. I may look at the ITD.

I went straight back into the gym, worked alot on my footwork, Zach Makovsky helped me this fight camp, getting better technically, was a quick turn around.

i mean, I'll give credit where it due, he was amongst the few who thought someone as smart as Conor had enough time to make adjustments and win a decision, and he was right. I'm a Conor dick rider and didn't make the same prediction

"Bro he's too smart, he spent 300k on this camp" isn't exactly solid reasoning. He made painfully obvious adjustments (throwing leg kicks against a Diaz and not gassing himself out in the first round) and still nearly got finished and barely won a decision.

It wasn't outlandish no, but if you get multiple predictions on a card wrong and still rave about getting one right you're a twat.

I really liked his alcantara performance too. Alcantara has really good standup and he outstruck him easily first two rounds third was close. I just cannot see a 37 yr old who has struggled recently against saenz and rivera, coming off a 5 round beating three months ago in what was his last ever title shot who is fighting for unknown reasons winning against this stormin bull.

I've just laid over 6 units on Rivera the line averages out @ -107. I really think this is a terrible fight for Faber and i feel very confident. I also stabbed Rivera decision but very small @ +175. I just cannot see Faber winning after struggling with Saenz and Fran Rivera. Not to mention three months ago he took a beating over 5 rounds at 37 and was hurt numerous times. Jimmie Rivera is a friggin beast.
I am with you and going fairly big on Rivera.

I don't think it has been brought up, but I'm honestly curious of who has the better cardio between Gall and Punk.

No way to know. Gall could easily gas and then it could be a close sloppy decision lol. That's why I don't understand people going big on Gall round 1 at such shitty odds.

I am not worried about Punk's cardio. He looks amazing and I am sure he is incorporating cardio into his regime. He doesn't look too bulky either.

My concern about Gall is that he is underestimating Punk and not putting in the work that he should. I know he likes the media stuff and is doing lots of media related activities. If Gall plans to just walk through Punk in r1 he could be in for a surprise if it turns into a close fight.

Another thing to bear in mind is Punk is coming off of a back injury....

Punk looked to be "coming on strong" (though with terrible technique) in the second Evolution of Punk video in the kickboxing sparring, but that could have been the effect of editing. That's why this fight is so hard to cap. There's no real video on Punk.
