i'm also on reem but i think this is a terrible fight to bet on in general. there should be lots of better options earlier on.

Well. JDS was not JDS that fight. And AA is not Stipe.

Who's to say this doesn't go like Stipe Werdum or Stipe AA. I think that's even more likely.

And seriously. Do u not think Stipe will land a punch?
I thought JDS didn't look himself either, but then I saw the Rothwell fight lol. So with the knowledge now that JDS is still JDS, if you go back and watch that fight you see the biggest problem was how confused JDS was as to how to get offense going. Reem did such a great job controlling the space, keeping the pace slow where he could be methodical finding the money shot in so many ways. Only thing I can't make sense of is why JDS didn't keep letting his hands go the one time was Reem on the fence. Even if Reem was circling out, he shouldn't have just stopped throwing and made it easy.

This DEFINITELY won't go like Stipe - Werdum lol. Reem is not going to charge like a bull. And with Reem's footwork and range control I doubt he lets himself get overwhelmed by an aggressive burst early like AA did (could see it though, just don't think its likely.)

Stipe might land a punch or two, but I seriously won't be surprised if hes held to just as little effective offense as JDS and AA. Stipe has never fought anyone like Reem, while Reem has enough expereince against similar styles, and as recently as his last 2 fights.

There has been more draws and that number will probably grow when the new scoring rules come into play, have the bookies adjusted the odds for draws yet?

Unfortunately, yeah. On 5d, they are like 33-40% of the price that they used to be

ok im switching sides to Overeem

I'm just going to use the same exact strategy as I did in the Barnett vs Arlovsky fight. Live bet the main event if it gets past round one

Unrelated, but Barnett +150 and u4.5 -160 was nice

Rivera will dominate. I think he will be like -150 unfortunately
No way man. Name recognition alone should see Faber as a favorite. Love watching Jimmie rep NJ, but let's not get ahead of ourselves either. It's not like he has significant wins that could sway the public into betting anyone but Faber with close lines.

It's gonna be a close scrap, but Faber can definitely win. And if he can win and Jimmie has zero name recognition, I won't be surprised if Faber hits -200 at some point.

Saenz nearly beat Faber.

I hope you are right jb. Faber is 37 now and he wasnt embarrassed by cruz or edgar but he didnt look great beating saenz or caceres. I just dont see what his motivation can be. Getting older it always affects the lighter guys first as they rely so much more on reflexes and the like.

Also, why the fuck is a 16 year old trusted to be a part of MMA media that score fights? What the fuck?

This kid definitely knows how to score fights

Alright. Let's just forget how horrible Faber has looked in the last 2 years.
I'm not saying he's in his prime. But this is a big step up for Jimmie and on paper it's still a tough fight.

I feel safe saying, there is 0% change Jimmie -150 or whatever you said lol

If Rivera is a dog I'm going big. He has improved every fight. Faber is nearly 40 and hasn't improved for over 5 years and has looked slow and completely lost in the last 2. An overhand right and a guillotine isn't enough anymore.

This guy seems pretty knowledgeable. Clearly watches tape and has knowledge of the lesser known prelim fighters. Bets too I think.

I hope rivera is the dog. I won't bet any significant on him at anything worse than -140. Keep in mind Urijah has only lost one non-title fight in his career and that was a 5 round decision to Frank the tank Edgar.

He's beaten Jesse Brock(who is beast) but usually under performs in the big fights.
Jimmie Rivera beat Jesse Brock beat Urijah Faber a few times in wrestling. Therefore Jimmie is better than Uriah. I've been in troll mode all day.

Jessie Brock is like 5'2(not exaggerating) and should be fighting at 125 but fought Donald Cerrone way back in the day who was a foot taller than him. He was also Ko'd by the #1 P4P fighter Mighty Mouse.
On my 19th birthday I sparred Jesse Brock and he whooped my ass so bad(without damaging me) I never wanted to go back to the gym.

God. I hope you are not basing anything off the JDS fight. It was blatantly obvious that JDS was not there that fight. The JDS that fought Ben would crush Reem.

Idk. U take the JDS fight out and Reem has not looked good at all.

Heaven Forbid Stipe makes him work hard the first round. Teen will already be gassed as hell
