This card doesn't seem so great besides the main event of Silva vs. Diaz.

Would you order this fight if it wasn't for Silva vs. Diaz?

Who else is on it?

Kevin gastelum not a big enough name to headline and Tate on the undercard

No

Get used to it kids, this WILL be what the UFC turns into. Boxing. Really good main event and shitty undercards.

Ask anyone who isnt a hardcore fan if they know who gastelum is.

Possibly. It's a pretty damn good card and I love me some Thiago Alves, but $60 is steep yo.

Would someone buy a mediocre PPV if the main fight wasn't on it?

Well that is a tough one

It may take two threads to solve this puzzle

If Diaz vs Silva isn't on the card, but another decent main event accompanied the rest of the card, it a pretty okay card. Simply remove the main event, it's definitely not a PPV card.

wait a minute...

this card has thales lietes AND anderson silva on it?

theres no way this card could be boring or otherwise uneventful.

or could it...

Ooh, I messed up there. I was looking at the card as a whole, as if the prelims were a part of the PPV. I would not order the PPV portion on its own, despite the fact that every fight on it interests me.

Honestly it's a great card -- lot's of great fights on it. But it wouldn't be worth the money without Silva-Diaz.
