And he owed fury nothing- fury was not.extendkng charity to him but was being paid far more than what ngannou was paid to fight him.
 
It's a no for me. I have moved past boxing as the fights aren't as exciting for me anymore. ONEFC Muay Thai events are so much more exciting and have way more action than boxing events, the excitement isn't even as close for me. To each their own though...

Nope. It sparks interest in former UFC guys going to box in 1 off fights but nobody is getting into boxing bc of the Francis fight.
 
I couldn't care less. I didn't even realize Francis was boxing fury until I signed on here the other night and saw an mma forum fanboying out over a boxing match.

Different strikes for different folks. I like MMA. Boxing is an after thought for me.

He's nothing special that's why he's still a fucking legend and icon to boxing moreso than even the guys who beat him.

Who gives a shit about his resume? He won the HW title in boxing as a teenager and inspired a ton of boxers and even mixed martial artists.

He doesn’t have a great resume against the best fighters of his era.

And he was 20, not 19 when he won a piece of the heavyweight championship.

You thought it was a 12 round fight and when I said I have Fury 6 rounds possible
7 you said well it would have been a draw based on this. Then you said with the knock down and the point deduction for the elbow Ngannou won. I said to you no the round Ngannou got the knock down obviously he won that round.

There was no point deduction and it was a
10 round fight.

But you kept posting rubbish and you continued to debate this.

No one special. Over rated.

He never won a rematch. He never came back in a fight he was losing.

When tested against the best of his era he folded.
