Rd 2 super close but judges will give it to Grant. Marcos (and his corner) needed to come in way more aggressive if they were gonna accept this fight. You can't go into someone's home country and give the judges reasons to give rounds to your opponent.
 
I'd score that one for Marcos. Nice damaging strikes that round. Stepping front elbow in particular was very nice.
1-1 is how I'd score it, but there is a chance that Grant has some hometown advantage/lean from the judges too.
 
Zero urgency from Marcos, I cannot imagine him winning this.
 
Wtf @ marcos running away from a 37 yr old in rd 3. Clear 2-1 or 3-0 Grant.

Honestly, I could make the case that he might have eeked out that third as well, BUT the visual was that he was walking backwards and had far less output. So the optics are gonna cause him to lose it I think.

Or maybe not. I actually agree with the decision, but I'm really surprised the judges got it right in spite of Marco's visuals.
 
Wow. I'm pretty surprised he got that in England.
 
Never imagined the fix would be in. Some ongoing foolery holy hell. Wouldn't blame Davey for retiring after some issh like this
