I’ve had my coffee and reflected on those of you who struggle with this because I’m an introvert and do appreciate the presence of the older users even though I have been quiet. Your loss would hurt the crowd.

I asked myself why is it that you are able to post thousands of messages but then this 6 character code becomes an issue and I came to this conclusion -

When asked to do something that is not of our own volition we perhaps feel like our autonomy is being taken away from us. We’re on this site to take our masks off and be truly ourselves, and any slight to that is an inconvenience. This however should beget the question -

Why is said autonomy being taken away? Is it a compromise of liberty if ultimately it is for our own security ? What if procedures were not in place and then your account was compromised , would you not then blame admin ?

If you answered yes to both then you’re probably just a rebel without a cause ( a given, we are fight fans ) and need to visit an mma gym.

If my interest in MMA and thereby this site hadn’t waned down to a mere glimmer of a once shining infatuation, I would probably do it.

But since I’m barely hanging on as it is and this site has become a shell of itself through a deluge of ads, the decision is pretty clear for me.
