Crime Two men hanged from a tree in Mississippi

Family said the opposite
It seems strange. He wakes up early in the morning, gets dressed, goes to school, says fuck this I'm out, and conveniently has a rope on hand to hang himself with? That doesn't make sense. If he had planned it why do it that way?

I read that he has no visible injuries to make it look like he was attacked prior, but I'm not certain how much I trust that. The family is right to want an independent autopsy.

How many people commit suicide in the US every year? How many lynchings are there per year?

The family should get an independent autopsy if they want.

The guy had no other injuries and didn't have his hands tied. So that indicates suicide. Im sure there are other things but try to help the family to get a better understanding of what happened as best as possible.

dudes usually leave a note. I lost a dear friend that way, we were supposed to go to a show... He stopped answering his phone a couple of hours before the time to leave, I enter his home (I had a key) and there he was. Forensics "professionals" were so bad that they asked me to hold the body while they cut the rope. Worse day of my life and after that having to deal with the cops (from a different department) questioning since "there was no note" and my prints were all over. But there was a note, his mom found file on his PC a couple of days later (the cops didnt think about looking in that at the time).

Point being... if the dude did it himself, he probably wrote something somewhere

Suicide rarely makes sense, if the person wasn't suffering from obvious depression. People who have everything going for them commit suicide daily. Anthony Bourdain hung himself. Chris Cornell hung himself. As for trees, look at the Japanese. There's a literal suicide forest over their, with folks of all stripes stringing themselves up quite regularly. As for the rope, I don't see what's so "convenient" about it. It's just a rope.

Not saying there couldn't be more to it, but there certainly doesn't have to be.

It is not hard to get a rope.

I have a friend who had a coworker that killed themself. By all accounts the guy was happy and enjoying life, he went out socialized and did not show any signs of depression. One night he killed himself and everyone was very shocked. Sometimes depression is kept inside until it is not and then it can be too late.

Of course not, but I don't see anything wrong with the family being skeptical. If they want to get an independent autopsy for closure, I'm fine with that.

I read about this a day or two ago with the black kid. My immediate thought was it was weird no foul play was suspected. I wonder how they determined that. Did his family say he had been suicidal or something? Maybe some therapist he had talked too? Weird anyway
They can usually tell if it was self-inflicted by looking at the scene and the body. In a hanging, things like how the rope was tied, where the knot is, and the angle of the marks on the neck give a lot away. Complex knots, unusual bindings, or evidence the rope was tied in ways difficult for the person to manage would indicate foul-play, for example.

Also, if someone else had done it you’d expect to see signs of a struggle, defensive wounds, weird bruises etc. So when authorities say no foul play suspected in a case like this, it usually means nothing at the scene and body pointed to someone else being involved.

There are monsters living among us.. as if we needed any further reminders, this last week has made it all the more visible..

Yeah i saw some race hustlers on x saying the black one was lynched without even the slightest hint of foul play.

Suicide.

They want so much to start some shit, it’s insane.

Like when NASCAR GOAT Legend Bubba Wallace said he found a noose in his garage but it turned out to be the rope that closes the garage door <36>
