I have never been on this Gab social media platform, and never read anything about it. So whether it condones 'hate' I have no idea.

How could FB know a murder is going to be livestreamed. You are expecting them to see into the future and stop said livestream.

What an absolutely ridiculous comment. Are you one of those people who insists that racism stopped with the Civil Rights laws or that racism stopped when Obama was elected.
How about all these Beckys we have had. How about Donald Trump riding to the WH on birtherism. How about all the racial animus from the rightwing. How about institutional racism from the law enforcement and justice system. Just because there is no official on the books racist laws, does not mean racism is not a part of the system and society. 100 years from now, there will still be racism. It's not something that is just going to stop.

Apparently you are one of those rightwingers who likes to imply Obama's presidency proves there is no more racism. You act like Obama got dam near all the votes. You ignore the racist rhetoric that the rightwing engaged in during Obama 2008 campaign. You act like Birtherism never existed and that it was not the reason Trump became a political personality on the right.

Electing Obama doesn't prove the US moved passed racism, it only proves that things have gotten better over the years. Aside from the above mentioned issues, Obama was the public face of an establishment that is White. So no one was going into the voting booths thinking that the US was handing the keys to the government over to Blacks.

Birtherism exposed the racist sentiments present in a lot of rightwing Americans. It is what got Trump to the WH, cause before he latched on to it, he was a political nobody.

no, i'm one of those people that think that if there is a system of racism setup that is designed to suppress the black man it's doing a pretty shitty job when a black man can become leader of the entire country that the system is setup in.


and why are you arguing whether or not america moved past racism? we are arguing if the word racism changes between a national level and an individual level. stop shifting the goal posts, cause i'm not falling for it. the definition of racism has nothing to do with whether or not it is national, society, or individual.
