Television TV shows with no likable characters

This right here; my wife made me sit through a couple seasons of this dogshit until I couldn’t deal with how awful every last one of them were. No idea how it ended, but hopefully they all died in a fire.

I enjoyed the early seasons and did finish the series, but you are correct in that they were all pretty unlikeable except for the couple with the black girl and the white guy that owned the bar.

I enjoyed it at first but after the 7th or 8th season I can't remember, I had my fill. No idea how it ended either but the lead actress left before the series had concluded.

Every for months my wife and I try a new show and all the characters are unlikable. Doesn’t matter if the story or directing is good. I cannot enjoy a show with everyone asshole.

You just described every Norman Lear sit-com he made.

Likable show, but all the charactors as individuals were so unlikable.
Ray: whiny pussy
Debra: stuck up bitch
Robert: another whiny pussy
Frank: just an asshole
Marie: crazy self centered cunt

The Norman Lear school of sit-com -- insults are considered funny.

Hated that show. I watched the first season after it ended and couldn't stomach anything more.

It was a soap opera about the mob, filled with every mafia cliche they could find.
I think it was a great show, but I didn't really sympathize with any of the characters. They were all trash.

Sons of Anarchy is another great mention in that vein. I think it was more befitting of your criticism of a glorified soap opera-- trailer trash soap-- filled with cliches and silly, unrealistic writing.

I feel like he's missing what the Supranos was doing as well, it deliberately uses the smaller more petty soap stuff to undercut a lot of the typical "mafia dignity" we see in other media showing these people dealing with smaller scale situations in which stupidity and blind luck are often big factors but there is always the larger drama about more decline behind it.

We are a rare breed. I also did not like Sopranos and Jez I have copped it about that over the years on here.

But I stand by my claims. I stuck it out to the end and it has one of the weakest final seasons I have ever seen and hands down the worst final episode and ending I have ever seen in a long running series ever.

I have a shit load more issues with it but thats another story
