Lawman: Bass Reeves was disappointing. It wasn't a bad show, but not what I was hoping it would be.
So few shows/movies ever talk about the Civil War, and it would've been really interesting to see them spend a significant amount of time there, especially from the viewpoint of a black man.
I don't know why they skipped so far ahead in his life instead of really going into his story.

@koquerelle also had some thoughts.

Just finished up Season 1 of Percy Jackson. It gets pretty corny at times but it is entertaining. Cut out after the credits on the last episode was great.

7/10
This was more made for little kids imo. The casting and age of the characters felt more like a A Disney or Nikelodean show. The girl that played Annabeth was just too young, not intimidating at all and looked nothing how the character should. The movies had it right with Alexandra Daddario as the daughter of Athena. I am ok with the adult cast. It was not terrible, just not better than the movie with weaker actors, so not sure why they even made it.

Anyone watch Jury Duty on Freevee? It is a fucking trip. Funny as all hell. It is about a court case and a jury that film makers are making a documentary on. The Jusy and case are fake and are all actors, except one guy. The one guy has no idea this is not a real cases and the jurors are actors. It is hysterical. James Marsden plays himself on the Jury. WILD and funny.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check this out.

They skipped ahead because very little is known about his life at that time.

What pissed me off is the man was an outstanding investigator who spoke many native languages, and they decided to make him a gunslinger.

The show was boring I stopped watching it 2 episodes and a half

I would have welcomed some creative exploration in that part then.

After reading up on him, I saw that information as well, and yeah, they really dumbed him down as just a guy that was good with a gun.

The man was never injured and almost everybody assume it was only because he was a great shooter. Think about it. It had be more than that. The man had to put the odds in his favour which fits with the fact he was very clever. They completely ignored that.

If I had the money, I would totally do a graphic novel on his life. The man is one of the most interesting heroes of the south.

They are going to make an Event Horizon series for Amazon. This is one of my favorite all time movies and I’m super excited for this but I have very low expectations. Adam wingard directed Godzilla vs kong which was a giant turd except for the kaiju battles. So, hopefully better than that lol

They better rescue Captain Miller out of Hell!

I think it got flushed away.
It's been pretty good so far. 4 out of 9 episodes have aired. It's a shame they didn't have an extra episode to show them training though (I've always liked that about Band of Brothers).

They only show an episode a week?

You like it? My Apple subscription runs out in 13 days and I wasn't sure if i should watch it.

First episode put me to sleep.

I'll probably come back and try again but I've obviously had a lot of movies on my docket.

I'm loving THE TRAITORS (U.S.). Absolutely hooked. This reality competition series is reminiscent of the early seasons of Survivor when it was still good.
