I don't understand why they're trying so hard to make this murderer look good.

People have always loved his mythology.

Not as much as Jesse James, but a lot.

Did you see the Assassination of Jesse James?

Official Trailer for Netflix's AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER Live-Action Series

Doesn't look great, to be honest. A lot of things that helped the animated series to be so excellent aren't really possible in live action. I can't imagine how they'd be able to make a kid move like Aang.

I bet HBO could have found a way.

Yes, I did. I liked it. Did you?

Fucking loved it. Casey Affleck is one of my favorite working actors.

I saw your comments on Bass Reeves. I never knew anything about him and liked it, but if you're right about who he was, yeah, it should have been better.

My wife and I decided to give CBS's Fire Country a try . . . we're like 8 or 9 episodes in and I'm already wondering how it got a second season.

Apparently season 3 of Reacher is based on Persuader, a book I haven't read yet. Good news for me. Bad news is that Neagly will return yet again. They're undermining the concept of Reacher being a loner.

Tried to watch Apple TV+ Masters of the Air, noticed the hot daughter from 1883, transitioned to background watching, turned it off to maybe try again from the beginning later.

Got Disney+ "free" via Spectrum only to see latest bill is raising broadcast fee a few bucks per month.

Anyone use Rakuten Viki to watch Japanese dramas? I saw some Reddit posts saying watchlists get periodically wiped out and some other problems like no longer free and pushing the pay plans.

Not familiar that much with manga & co. but Jujutsu Kaisen, the 1 and 2 seasons... whoa... the animation is beyond. Not sure ive seen such attention to detail. You can feel the love the creators have for the material, it defnitely shows in each scene.

Yeah, the Chief's sister is gorgeous. The show is filled to the brim with hot women, but it's the crazy action and strong characters/performances that will keep you hooked till the end.

The show had everything a person could love before the woke plague ruined so much.

Anyone watching Loudermilk? It has a lot of heart. It's about a guy (Ron Livingston - Band of Bros, Office Space) of who heads up an AA meeting. He's bitter former drunk living with his sponsor (Will Sasso) who takes in a young addict. They have a great cast, especially the guys in the AA group, which can get ridiculous. I'm really enjoying it.

I started watching the show last week and I really like it even though Will Sasso is in it.

Anyone check this out and can verify its good?

Worth the price of admission to see Luke Skywalker and Captain Kirk play two split personalities of the same character.

Also a lot more He-Man focused and action oriented than Revelation.

It’s not a surprise, but it still stings: Netflix appears to have closed the door on Black Summer, the best zombie show on the platform. Co-creator John Hyams had initially tweeted a third season wouldn’t be happening back in April, but a new report indicatesNetflix has officially canceled the show.

I am not surprised because it has been a couple of years since S2. I liked the concept. I could not summarize the plot or characters but I liked the filming style and the sheer frantic action of it all. Too bad.

Great (Black) summary! I've watched S1 & 2 a couple times and that's how I basically feel. Really enjoyed the frantic pace.
