Television TV Show Thread

Just finished watching The Patient starring Steve Carell and Domhnall Gleeson. It was okay and entertaining but felt like it was a movie expanded to a series. I did not like the ending though.

Did not like Carell's plan. It was a suicide bluff and he just gave up and just wanted to die. Felt like he was making progress with Gleeson and he should have just waited for a better opportunity for escape in the future. He should have bid his time and continue being a therapist/substitute dad for Gleeson. The heavy-handed comparisons to being in Auschwitz was too much. Compared to that, Carell's situation was less bleak and showed plenty of potential for future escape or liberation.

The wife and I are watching Night Court and ALF lately. Loved these shows as a kid and rewatching them brings me back to being a kid again. I know they’re not high quality tv, but the old goofy and cheesy comedy is my preference.

Any Ted Lasso fans? I have literally nothing to binge right now so I’m psyched the season 3 premiere is a week away.

im LOVING ‘Daisy and the Six’ about a road band who mesh together wonderfully. Everyone only had a year to get ready.

Official Trailer for The Russo Bros.' CITADEL Starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas

On April 28, enter a new age of espionage. Watch the trailer for Citadel, a new spy series starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, streaming on Prime Video.

Lee Murray four part documentary on Showtime next month.

@Buff

Monica.

I do my best to stay as far away from London bad boy gangsters as I can, but being a private chef I occasionally get hired by them, and occasionally used to train with people who knew him back in the day... Always used to ask what he was like, and the answer was always the same... "Lee was proper, bruv. Absolute animal...".

I was working in Central London the street over when he was stabbed and saw the girls arriving and then the aftermath and the blood... Always felt a weird affinity towards the guy since then. Shit was shocking. Couldn't believe he survived, let alone managed to persuade someone to give him a ride...

Saw a trailer of I think a movie on Apple TV+ of Cap Am actor and Ana De Armas as what looked like a female James Bond. Might be time to re-subscribe for a bit.

I also watched Shrinking on Apple TV. Pretty good. Harrison Ford and Jason Siegel are a good duo.

If there are crazy eyes on chick, Lee Murray is the archetype for male crazy eyes. His eyes/look with wide open, confused, stupid donce look give the impression without knowing him that the guy is nuts. Ive seen that look on a couple people before and its never been a normal balanced person.

I'm loving this show too, binged the first 3 episodes, can't wait for the 4th. Elvis' granddaughter is doing well

And off topic, but do you know Devyn Nekoda? Was looking at the cast for the new Scream movie and noticed she's from your area

Yup for sure! So happy for her, she had to wait though with all the pandemic still but she self taped it at my friend's house (Graham Greene's, dances with wolves) on First Nay where I am from.

Elvis' GD, what a babe and a talent. Can't believe they only had a year to get ready and shoot. I hate its only one ep a week. \ Try out ted lasso too, it's amazing. Just youtube clips of it even

Nah mate it's gonna be Aaron Johnson. Book it.

I'm rewatching The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The first 2 seasons are amazing. Big recommend to my Sherbros. Brosnahan was born for that role. Bonus: Tony Shalhoub plays the dad and he's awesome in a supporting role.
Love the show. Barely into season 2 so far. I love the references to people like Nichols & May. I'm old so I love the nostalgia. Plus that woman's tits are glorious, spectacu-tits even, doesn't hurt LOL
