"FUTURE MAN" ON HULU- most underrated comedy series in a long while.

went from lookin absolutely HORRIBLE,
to being on my "rewatch this every few yrs" list.

Dick Van Dyke is amazing him and Betty White defy age Dick at 95 years of age.

Finished watching Losing Alice and Mosquito Coast. Started watching the middle east spy show and not that bad, and saw Season 2 was green lighted.

Thought there was a scifi/fantasy show, but couldn't find it or it didn't come out yet.

I didnt like the last season as much but overall that show was dope and I finished it pretty dang quick and im not really a binge watcher.

Anyone watching this new BBC series Time. Just watched the first 2 episodes and it's really good, can't beat a bit of Bean and Stephen Graham is always solid. Had to put subtitles on though as some of the scouse accents were unintelligible.

Liked the 1st episode. The BBC can still deliver when they're not drowning in virtue signaling

Anyone watch a BBC series called Broadchurch? Came out in 2013 (3 seasons). It's an awesome crime/Detective story starring David "Dr Who/Killgrave" Tennant (3 Docs in this actually). I just finished S1, really enjoyed it, fantastic acting.

Trailer doesn't do it justice, def worth a watch, just starting S2.

<{clintugh}> wtf is going here?

Looks good . . . I'll have to try to find it and give it a watch.

Lisey's Story.

I'm kind of lost but I do like it - just wish there was some back story.

The villain is a real shit head.
Where does it rank among the other Apple TV+ shows?

I tried to watch the Jen Aniston show and had to turn it off after first several minutes. I'm guessing that and the coach show aren't for me.

If the "coach show" is Ted Lasso I can't reccomend it highly enough. It is brilliant television, and that is from someone who watches virtually no television, and only torrents a few specific series.

Just finished Episode 6 of Mr Inbetween. The school reunuion was funny.

I don't know - what are some apple shows (I'm watching it via other means).

It's good but just wish there some back stories (info) because there is a lot of unknowns in this program.

Anyone checked out The Last Narc on Amazon Prime?

The Last Narc is a docuseries about the 1985 death of U.S. DEA agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena. The series interviews DEA agents and witnesses to Camarena's death who state that he was murdered by Mexican drug lords, with the complicity of the CIA.

That was a fun reunion in Mr Inbetween.
I thought he maybe would beat up the principal.
But he forgave him.

Started watching I think it's called Home Before Dark about the little girl "reporter". I guess I gotta finish the 1st ep and maybe a few more to see what happened to the lady with the garage sale.

Haven't watched that but I did watch Snowfall which is based on the the whole Iran/Contra scandal in the 80's. Basically the CIA running drugs from Central/South America into the United States which led to the crack epidemic. Its pretty good and there have been 4 seasons so far.

I've thought about giving that a watch . . .

@fingercuffs

I have a new guilty pleasure.

Physical starring Rose Byrne.

I’m in my phone or I’d post the trailer.

Scrappy eighties bitch creates aerobics empire.

Edit: Here's the trailer:

I watched half of Home Before Dark Season 1. It's as if they are making it up as they go. It's not that bad, but skippable. For a show starring kids, they don't hold back profanity.

The other Apple TV+ shows I watched mostly have ample profanity but no nudity. I don't understand that logic.

Was hoping the mom did nudity in other roles.

Trying to not get my hopes up.

Big fan of Gaiman, don't want to be disappointed.
I do not see how they can make a good show from sandman.
The dreams (and nightmares), the backstories, the epic weirdness!
Awesome and legendary comic, but its not going to translate to TV.

It is probably going to be another Lucifer -going from awesome&epic to a opposite-couple/budy-budy cop series (lucifer the TV show was good in its way, but it was not a pimple in the arse of the comic it somehow was based on even though it only shared two main characters -in name only, and no trace of the storyline)

Legion gives me hope.

I absolutely loved that show.

I liked it too. But making a TV script out of the sandman and the Endless (you got to love Death and Delerium) stories, is another kettle of fish entirely. It is just too weird and complicated.
