Official Trailer for CAPTAIN LASERHAWK: A BLOOD DRAGON REMIX; On Netflix Oct. 19th

Yeah, Ramy is great.

This has been a fantastic television week for me.

Anyone still watching Heels?

It's slipped down to a 6 or 7 for me but I'm still watching. Seems like every second episode there's a suicide hotline advisory due to content, which I guess rings pretty true all things considered.

First season was easy to get through, entertaining and interesting and while it had the atmosphere of opressing small town pull you were rooting for Ace/someone. There were stories with positive underline/potential.
This season...ffs... not getting over episode 3 and barely there.

Same feeling for the most part. It was fun the first season, but it's a chore to get through now. It's just too slow for a show about wrestling. I just put it on while I'm doing other stuff these days.

I’m still passively watching but it’s fallen off a good bit since season 1. It’s just not that interesting anymore

If you guys liked Heels S1 like I did, I highly recommend watching Wrestlers on Netflix. This is Heels IRL

It focuses on Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) which used to be the feeder system for WWE, where guys like Brock Lesnar cut his teeth.

It's a really compelling inside look at the business and characters behind the scenes. What makes OVW different from other smaller promotions, is that they do a live broadcast once a week. Only WWE and AEW do that in NA, as far as I know. If anyone has worked on live broadcasts, it's super stressful/rewarding. Coupled with the interesting characters, and all the machinations behind the business, it makes for a great watch.

Thanks. I'll add it to my que.
I've found myself watching more WWE these days. Former wrestlers Maven and Steven Richards do pretty interesting videos on their separate Youtube channels. Maven gives some behind the scenes information on working with particular wrestlers, money, etc.
And Richards gives analysis on moves and matches, especially when wrestlers botch something. He'll point out what they did wrong, and what they should have done.

I really enjoyed Pete Davidson and Joe Pesci's Bupkis series, very funny and real. I'd give it a whirl

Just starting Nocturne.

First episode in & looks intriguing/good.
Castlevania is a top 3 atg Netflix series for me.

If anyone can help me out with my request below, DM me. Thanks!

Does anyone have a good **free** website for streaming Anime?

I used websites like Soap2Day in the past (and have found others since) for TV shows & Movies, but Anime is usually not on any of those. I know Crunchy Roll is the best one if you want to pay for a membership, but I'm looking for like a Soap2Day version for Anime so I can see if I'm into it before thinking about memberships. (I know Crunchy Roll has some free options, like the first 25 episodes of DBZ and stuff, but I'm looking for full seasons).

Also, any good Anime recommendations? Since I haven't dove in before I want to do the classics, the four I've heard the most about are:
-Dragon Ball (Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Z Kai & Dragon Ball Super)
-One Piece
-Naruto
-Death Note

Others I've heard of but don't know much about...
-Jujutsu Kaisen
-Attack on Titan
-Cowboy Bebop (I know they had a crappy Netflix show, or at least I heard it was crappy...)

Is Pokemon considered Anime? I used to watch those episodes when I was in elementary school for a couple of years but probably only a season or two.

Feel free to suggest more, or your favs!

Gen V has the makings of a fun spinoff series from The Boys.
Check it out on Amazon Prime, first 3 episodes just dropped.
It’s about college for heroes

Four episodes into Ramy and it's really good.

pretty good show. I know it's all an act but his character in the show makes him out to be a douche. there are some hot chicks in the show though.

Yeah, the character is a massive douche.

Continental is pretty good. they actually found a guy who looks like like a younger Ian McShane.

Besides the obvious ones...

Shorsey was fun for all the canucks on these boards.
