Turning trash into nice things

I do some woodworking as a hobby, and in early springs I picked up some wooden pallets and used the planks for some projects. A lot of businesses are giving them away.

Once I remove the nails, I run the planks through a planer and the wood is quite decent.

Here is my latest, a rack for a herb garden. Every piece of wood came from a pallet, so free materials!

I’m the same. I haven’t put the effort your mum has but it’s a love thing for me. I have the iPad playing music if I’m in the garage painting. I couldn’t imagine parting ways with something I’ve put my heart into. So no, I talk a good restorative game because I’m a wannabe YouTube viewer of how to do it and which brands/tools todo it with.
Idk that you're a wannabe, you do it. Doesn't matter where your starting point is, everyone has one. Anyone keeps doing things they start out doing becomes what they intended to be. Good for you, lady

I’m still here bud.. just don’t post as much. My post whore game is minimal right now
I mostly stay in the MMA forums these days, but WW is one of the slowest forums, and the UFac sucks balls these days, hard. Probably be in Mayberry more, which is comforting in a way. Like coming home
