Crime Tulsi starts the intelligence community cleanup, fires over 100 participants in "horrific" lgbtq NSA chat

Do you agree with the cleaning up of the intelligence community from individuals such as these?

So you agree it was a good firing?

I suspect it's a largely pointless firing based on a technicality which lots of staff probably do regarding other subjects and I think people should be fired for poor performance not on their level of interest in gangbangs.

So yes or no?

Why no? They explicitly broke rules they signed agreements not to. Justify the no.

Because I'm very confident loads of people will use that system to discuss stuff that isn't work related because people do that at work. If they're consistent and fire other people for discussing anything that isn't work on there then it's at least a consistent firing but I don't believe they will.

So what? This is a specific case. In this specific case, with the participants having used the system in ways contrary to a signed agreement, was the firing good?

No, I think you should be fired based on how good you are at your job. Imagine losing a valuable member of your team who was uncovering good intelligence for you because they talked about gangbangs lol.

But one of the criteria of "how good you are at your job" is respecting the agreement you signed. They didn't and got fired.

I was fired from my very first office job for using my works email to discuss how many E's we were going to drop on the coming weekend with my mates outside of work. You cannot talk about dodgy shit on works time or space, it can bring a company into disrepute.

The fact that this is suddenly presented as a novelty is insane. It's like people don't have actual jobs in real life and don't know how strict this whole thing is.

So if you got fired for it, would it be legally correct?

I couldn't argue it legally, but it wouldn't make it a good firing. If you're asking if it's a legal firing then sure, but that's different to a good firing. I never said it wasn't legal.

Lets hope work don't check what I post on here then lol.

It definitely is a good firing when people discuss gangbangs and lasering their butthole on the company platform.

Most people won't read it and just give bullshit NPC comments..

During work hours in their chatrooms talking about all that and not just one time or for a few minutes.

If they're doing that shit on company time, they deserve to get fired.

I can't jerk off in the company toilets, so I've no sympathy for these ass-clowns.

If it's internal and it's not hurting anyone then I don't see it as important so long as they're doing a good job otherwise.

If they're struggling to meet performance requirements and I notice they're spending a lot of time talking about lasering buttholes and ask them to maybe spend less time doing that and they carry on doing it and their performance doesn't improve then it's a good firing.
