I said ISIS was bombed to dust during Obama's time Mosul was already under siege, Raqqa was partially encircled by the end of Obamas term, ISIS was already defeated with the Syrian rebels already on the outskirts of Raqqa on one capital and the Iraqi and Iranian PMCs already entering Mosul in Iraq.

I won't mention Deir-Al Zour because ISIS never captured it and the US was not helping there because Russia was controlling the airspace and the US didn't want to help Assad and operate in Russian controlled airspace

I think most sane Democrats would rather have Trump win than Gabbard at this point.

Trump is more predictable because Trump has only one thing in mind which is himself. Gabbard actually seems to believe in the things she says.

Oh no doubt, I’m not denying that. She definitely has more relevant experience. The law says she should have “extensive national security expertise,” andshould be “ an active-duty commissioned officer in the armed forces or have training or experience in military intelligence activities and requirements.” She doesn’t seem to be the latter, but I guess you could say she meets the former by way of those administrative roles she had.

But I’m not super thrilled with her work on shaping Obama’s drone killings policies, as I don’t agree with them and I think the drone killings of US citizens overseas is a major stain on Obama’s legacy, and I’m also not a real big fan of her overruling the CIA Inspector General and not disciplining CIA personnel that hacked the computers of Senate staffers writing the torture reports. That’s a really, really bad look. So I am just generally not a fan of her.

The director doesn't need to have an active duty history so long as the deputy does, or vice versa.

Obama killed one US citizen, who was literally a member of Al-Qaeda, in a country we had no access to or extradition treaty with. I don't think it's really that bad of a look.

As recently as the 2020 election she was saying her main goal was to defeat Trump.
Now in 2024 she worked for his campaign and is serving in his cabinet.
 
Seems like she smartened up and stopped being a Democrat. After they’ve had their incompetence and corruption exposed, it’s hard to blame her.
