Elections Tulsi drops out and endorses BIDEN!!!!

As a Tulsi fan, I don't like her doing this but she did keep her word. She said she would endorse whomever ends up becoming the nominee and wouldn't run 3rd party. Bernie has zero path to victory so she did what she needed to do.

I'd love to see Biden pick her as VP but it's likely going to be Kamala or Klobuchar.
 
Tulsi has been iffy ever since the "Present" vote on impeachment, but aside from that, the writing is on the wall, bernie lost already, so she's backing the party candidate.

pretty normal for democrats to support democrats even if they dont agree with one another.

And still, so many people here don't understand what it means when a candidate drops out of the race and gives their endorsement to someone. The reason these people are endorsing Biden is because they think he's better than Trump. What purpose would it serve to endorse Bernie, or anyone else?

You'll have to explain that to Bernie Bros who find it absolutely despicable, but were totally cool with Sanders endorsing Clinton for the "greater good".

Either the Bernie Bros have double standards, or they've reached their breaking point and will turn on Sanders all the same. Both possibilities are about 50/50.

At least Biden never talked shit about her Dad and wife. Cruz still holds the biggest bitch in politics title.
The dems are taking a page out of the GOP playbook and funny the only ones bitching are people who would vote straight R on their ballot anyway.

Yeah sorry , some people would hope these candidates actually stand for their beliefs . Tulsi, who has been so against "regime change wars" just endorsed the guy who was VP for Libya and Syria. Fucking hypocrite. Shes just like the rest of them

If they don't like Biden, but they dislike Trump more and Biden is the one running against him, who should they endorse?

They dropped out and endorsed Biden because they were offered something. It has nothing to do with Trump.

To be fair before I rip her apart. She did say that she would endorse the Democratic nominee for president.

But I'm hearing people say that she has to drop out now because things have changed. There is a pandemic now. I don't think she dropped out because of the pandemic. I believe she was offered something.

Even if she did, all I can say is, if you can't stick to your resolve when times are tough, what is the point of saying any of these things in the first place? Shit is hard and it's only going to get harder. Did they think being president was easy?

I'm sorry but a pandemic changes nothing but the strength of their backbones. There is always a new enemy to fight. The status quo will always be easy. The warm embrace of business-as-usual will never falter.

Do the regime change wars go away with the pandemic?

The MSM will use this to pressure Bernie to drop out as well.

Not good for progressives. Joe is holding fast to his repudiation of progressive values, insisting that Americans don't want major change. Unless progressives force him to capitulate, he will preside over another 8 years of neoliberalism.
