News Tuivasa weighing 310lbs

I've been 280-290lbs a couple times in my life and I'm similar height to Tuivasa, ive never looked as fat as him. I promise you guys like Lewis, Tai, Hunt etc. Stay 300+lbs most of the year.
Probably his diet

There's 300 pounds

And then 300 pounds arrived at through burger and fast food consumption

He's a show fighter, ko or get ko'ed. UFC likes that. Also he's a company man, he don't get cut anytime soon.

Tai is just a sloppy fat can who need to lay off the Dominos & KFC and actually work on trying to develop somewhat of a ground game

Should just stick to food eating contests instead of MMA at this rate

He's only half ethnically Samoan, the other half is Australian Aborigine. If you're fat, you're fat, lets just be real about it.

Edit: 46% of Indigenous Australians aged 15 or over are obese.

Can not believe Tuivasa is still not taking his combat career serious, on the verge of being cut and seems to just not care.

The 32-year-old, who has a history of ballooning up in weight between fights, has revealed he's now around 27 kilograms (60 pounds) above the UFC's heavyweight limit. Stating he needs to get back in the gym.

He's lost 5 in a row including being finished in 4 of them. I think there is a lot more going on then extra visits to the buffet table.

"I need to get back in the gym, I need to get fit."

Says the professional athlete. Pathetic.

Those guys from Tonga, Samoa, Fiji and Maori NZ are always gonna be very heavy, but its not that, its his skill level and talent, he is crap. He just doesn't have the skill. Lets not forget he has already been cut from UFC before, people forgot that, he was cut in the past because he was so bad, but for some weird reason they brought him back, and he is just as bad this time round lol :D

He is so sloppy, lunges with punches and is just a slop bag in there. Doesn't have a good chin either, initially I thought he will have a good chin looking at him, but he doesn't, he's been dropped so many times and reacts poorly to getting hit. UFC HW division is in such a sorry state, its really sad to see.

Tuivasa vs Plinio would be a great gift to debut the UFC SHW division. Plinio is still only 39 and had his last fight 5 years ago but has been in the game studying and training ever since. They have trained together and know each other's tricks so it would probably be a close fight.

Fuck it, I'd watch it. Couldn't be worse than 60% of the HW fights, I'd like to see how Pereria's trainer does. Book it UFC, they look like they are similar builds.

That dude was way more than 310 when I saw him last

No self discipline but I wish him the best

More like Pie Tuivasa
Get it
Its because he eats a lot and is chubby

Yet they cut Rozenstruik

Sumo wrestlers weigh 300, 400, 500+ pounds. You get NFL players who are 300, 350, 400+ pounds.

But the UFC has this beta 265 pound limit on the "Heavyweight" division. Teila Tuli in UFC 1 was 410 pounds. Since the advent of this 265 weight limit, he could never even fight in the UFC.

If you had asked me 15 years ago, when I first started following this sport, whether overweight heavyweights would still be a thing, I would’ve said no. I have zero patience for heavyweights who are borderline obese. I get that some people are naturally built thicker than others, but there’s no excuse for someone like Tai Tuivasa walking around at 310 pounds. He’s probably carrying around 80-100 pounds of non-functional body fat, and honestly, if Jared Cannonier could make 185, Tai could easily make 205.

This is definitely newsworthy of a news bubble

He's out of camp. Hardly the first guy to gain weight between fights. This is no worse than Paddy ballooning up.

That's due to poverty and eating the lowest quality food available now.

They used to be a jacked people.

90

Tai is comparatively wealthy to any of them. He's just a gluttonous slob with no self control.

This is poor excuse, Samoans love their food it's well established but David Tua is a prime example of what Samoans are capable of when they are disciplined. There is no reason why Tuivasa can't stay in shape during breaks and even improve his health and physique. The lifestyle is why many Samoans die young from health conditions that could be avoided.
Tua was a beast
