Opinion Tucker Carlson: "Open" to the Flat Earth Theory

I just vomited from agreeing with Jack Savage but your wrong. It absolutley is about the acknowledgment of transpeople existing. Transrights is a low priority issue to almost every pro transperson but anti transpeople are absolutley fucking obssessed with them.

i bet alot of them have got some tranny porn on their browser history. wouldnt surprise me. i wonder what the pornhub census data would indicate out of traffic from bible belt states.

all these people selling their outrage porn and pushing their hatred towards trannies to their audience - i can't help but to get the impression that their animosity towards them is based on nothing really more than a bunch of rubes significant others or relatives discovering some tranny porn on their computers or caught them beating off to that shit one day, and ever since then they are filled with resentment over it and want to stamp these people out of existance.

thats just the impression that i get though. these people seem to be so upset over the tiniest fraction of people who don't even affect their lives and they are filled with so much hatred and resentment towards them, but i bet alot of their browser histories might suggest otherwise :)

I mean... People believe all kind of wacky things. But for some reason it's always, without fail, trannies. It's a well that certain folks keep going back to.

It's just strange.
It's another of their thought-terminating cliches they use when they feel attacked by something, but don't know how to go about making a sensible defense. For some of our posters, this sort of stuff makes up almost the entire content of what they post.

Person 1: "this is ridiculous. It's crazy that he says stuff like this and has supporters."

Person 2: "You believe men can breastfeed!"

At times in the recent past, you could be openly hateful to lots of groups of people and there weren't many, if any, negative consequences for it. Slowly but surely that's all gone away. Even being openly anti-Muslim, which was pretty easy to get away with post-9/11, is becoming passe.

Transgender people are what remains. For the pathological bigot, this is their last stand. They're like a fearful wild animal backed into a corner. Their claws are out, they're swinging away, foaming at the mouth, and pissing themselves. They're like a junkie running dry: They'll do anything to get their fix.

These losers LBJ was talking about didn't magically go away:

"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

The desire and need to look down on others, so you can feel better about yourself, still resides in many human hearts. The target isn't really so important and can change over time. But there needs to be a target.

Stunning. Accusing others of being openly hateful while calling them animals and pathelogical bigots.

He's the guy that Melania Trump wants for Trumps VP. No seriously lol.

This has been Tucker's MO for a long, long time.

He "discusses" ideas that have no basis, yet feed his audience with enough confirmation bias to stay tuned without actually endorsing those ideas.

Overall agenda to discount facts and science in place of what "seems" right. Flat Earth is far from the most ridiculous theory he subversively promotes to further that agenda.

Don't give me any of your sass, flat-earther. "You're bigoted against bigots" is a ludicrous stance.

"You accuse the KKK of acting in ways that are uncouth, but your criticisms of them were so harsh!"

It sounds like you accept bigotry if its directed toward groups of people you deem as wrong, immoral, or less than.

During an interview with Blaze personality Alex Stein on Thursday, Tucker Carlson was asked about his thoughts on an ice wall and flat Earth theory. Tucker responded by stated he is "open to anything."

Stein: What do you think of flat Earth theory, Tucker?

Carlson: "Well, I'm open to anything, but I just know from shooting—"

Stein: "Hey, that's it. Cut the soundbite."

Carlson: "How could I not be open to anything at this point? I mean, there's been so much deception that you can't trust your preconceptions."

Tucker then claimed that the idea that history ascends towards "enlightenment and technological progress" is "a complete lie." Tucker stated, "the most basic stories we've been told about history, about the Earth, the physical Earth itself, which has been completely changed by climate change for millions of years, once you realize all of that, then it's like, I don't know, what is true?"

This feels like he is just shilling to keep his base by not upsetting anyone. Disappointing but unsurprising.

When you know your audience drinks out of the toilet.

Haha. Go to the 1:40 mark and you can see the curvature flip back and forth from concave to convex.
Yes, you see that happen in multiple videos, from amateurs to professional ones like this. What's more likely:

1. People involved in a world-wide conspiracy to hide the true shape of the planet (which the energy drink Red Bull is in on) all forget to edit their videos, publishing them and leaving them up for years with evidence of their fraud in plain sight. Doh!
2. It's a temporary distortion that sometimes happens in these videos.

Here's something else to think about:

Commerical airline pilots have to take the Earth's curvature into account when making long-distance flights. Are they all in on it too?

The very slightest bit of critical thinking would help you here. Anyway, I'm not getting into a long argument with a flat-earther. I do enjoy rolling in the muck with smooth brains, but this is too much, even for me.

"Sure, the Nazis don't like Jews, but are you really any better by not liking the Nazis? Checkmate!"

So bigotry is ok as long as its against bad people and evil doers? So it really just comes down to who one thinks is a bad person or an evil doer. The average person considers a man who parades around children in drag to be a bad person and an evil doer. Therefore their bigotry is justified. Checkmate.

It's literally a joke. He says he's open to anything but he knows from shooting - and then Alex Stein, a comedian, cuts him off. As a joke.

For liberals, what Tucker was referring to is when shooting long rifles over far enough distances, you have to account for the curvature of the earth.

Bigotry is, by definition, unreasonable prejudice against someone.

Disliking everyone of Indonesian descent, just for being Indonesian, is unreasonable. Disliking people who abuse animals is not unreasonable and you're not a bigot by doing so. Understand?

The average person doesn't find transgender or crossdressing people evil.

Even among the Fox News crowd, clearly, they have exceptions. Rudy Giuliani dressed in drag and their God Emperor Trump motorboated him. Nary a complaint there!
