Opinion Tucker Carlson: "Open" to the Flat Earth Theory

I'm not even sure if it's just a grift anymore. He might be legitimately suffering from brain rot.

I don't think that is it. 99% sure its still a grift.

I think he is a smart guy. He knows how to gain and keep followers (views/clicks) and, in turn, make money.

But I guess there is an off-chance he went looney.

Here is what i don't understand about flat earthers. You can see the sun, moon, stars, and other planets with your own eyes or a telescope. Even with a cheap telescope you can clearly see the moon is curved. If everything else is round and curved why would the earth be different?

You do realize it’s only a small group of people who believe that stuff right? Why is it assumed that millions of people believe it when they don’t.

During an interview with Blaze personality Alex Stein on Thursday, Tucker Carlson was asked about his thoughts on an ice wall and flat Earth theory. Tucker responded by stated he is "open to anything."

Stein: What do you think of flat Earth theory, Tucker?

Carlson: "Well, I'm open to anything, but I just know from shooting—"

Stein: "Hey, that's it. Cut the soundbite."

Carlson: "How could I not be open to anything at this point? I mean, there's been so much deception that you can't trust your preconceptions."

Tucker then claimed that the idea that history ascends towards "enlightenment and technological progress" is "a complete lie." Tucker stated, "the most basic stories we've been told about history, about the Earth, the physical Earth itself, which has been completely changed by climate change for millions of years, once you realize all of that, then it's like, I don't know, what is true?"

This feels like he is just shilling to keep his base by not upsetting anyone. Disappointing but unsurprising.

Tucker is a smart dude in terms of knowing his audience.

They're simple. Anti-intellectual / anti-science/ susceptable to conspiracy types

"I dont believe what them academic scientists tell me!" type.

Flat earth is pretty much the foundation and easiest fruit to grasp for those type of thinkers.

Again, like I said, this has already been proven though. Tucker knows that. So he is just straight pandering here to his stupid followers.

Unless you think Tucker is actually open to this and is being sincere. In that case, maybe he is much less intelligent than we all thought (also.. I have a bridge to sell you).
No I don’t mean anyone should be “open to flat earth”. It’s an obviously insane thing to believe. He’s pandering here. But the concept of being open, hearing what there is to consider and then making an informed opinion is important.

It's literally not possible for Bryce to get dumber even after that massive concussion he suffered.

Nah imma judge . Wtf is this? And the head shot he took last night isn’t gnna help

beautifully stated.

I examined the flat earth theory during COVID, and I wondered why this theory was gaining traction. I saw a few documentaries, some components were interesting, and others were goofy and silly.
I was unconvinced in the end.

I want to believe Bryce deep down is a good man.
A complete effin moron...But still a good guy overall.
