Because it’s all performative dumbass. Some of us actually care about policy that would lead to a solution. Trump deregulated parts of the economy that will lead to more of the chemicals that cause cancer. DOGE also cut pediatric cancer research which made their jobs harder for no reason. You guys just love doing this fake outrage to try and own the libs. You don’t give a single fuck about this kid

I was thinking exactly that when they refused to stand for children with cancer, parents that lost their daughter and had a nature preserve named after her, and other moments where anyone with compassion and a heart would have stood.

The Democrats brand is in the worst shape it's been for decades. Americans haven't been this mad at the Democrats since their slave owning days. They should fire their PR team.

Who cares if its performative by the republicans, the kid didn't fake having fucking cancer, he's 13, he didn't vote for Trump, he didn't ask to be invited, he's just a kid having a dream come true and all you can think about is Trump bad. If you can't understand how that makes you a garbage person and how awful that makes you look to the general public, I'm shocked.

I can safely say that performative gesture in bringing him or not, everyone that stood up and clapped was happy for the kid. You know who couldn't be happy for an innocent kid, the dems.
