Elections Trump's speech tonight ***Sherdog Discussion*** 3/4/25 9PM ET

Go back to Reddit dork, you responded to me after I commented on Maddow saying it's disgusting the kid with cancer was at his speech. You didn't watch the speech so what are you doing in this thread. I tried to help connect the dots for you, but you're in full TDS mode.

There is a USAID thread ...
Yup you got nothing

So what are the retorts here for the dems side of this?

Call the speech what?

Call names?

What is the actual message dems are responding with -- because it looks like literally none in here.

Sitting there with thumbs up asses after yesterday -- dressed in pink... I mean... what is your positive moving forward position. Orange man bad? Fear monger? Any plan? Anything?

Serious question, though I doubt a serious answer will arise.

She seems to be much, much more competent than Canala. The response was the same as usual though. Dump is bad, this isn't what the country needs etc.

At some point the democrats need to actually put forth some policies and admit they made some mistakes on immigration, trans issues etc. Their message can't be "we're not Dump" or over half the country is going to continue to tune them out.

It's funny that virtually all of the success that the Democrats have had this century can be tied back to GOATbama. They need a decent candidate again that people actually have respect for. Slotkin is certainly qualified but she's likely not the one.
Spook to soon, but as soon as they find someone towards the center that's like Obama, they can win some landslide elections I think.

I think it's a generally difficult position to give a rebuttal speech after someone has only been in office for a couple months because it just comes across as sour grapes. As pointed out, these first speeches generally have very high approval from the people that watch them. There have been some pretty strong fact checks on his speech but I would imagine that isn't what you are looking for? I thought it was one of the more hideous speeches I've heard in a long time but his base is going to love it and that was the point.

Can't make good points, just troll or call them Nazis. NPC playbook 101, we are seeing it somewhat in this thread.
It’s on the website holy shit what’s wrong with you guys lol

Here's the source from the same poll:

At some point the dems need to toughen up and stop letting themselves get pushed around by goatnald. Pouting in pink and holding up some cheesy signs like Wile E coyote while pelosi cries like a little girl doesn’t instill confidence. At least that hairy/smelly looking guy went out showing some fight.

It shows more disconnect from the dem side than ever to not even want to work for a positive message ; if that's how it's perceived from the general public ; and a TERRIBLE look for the side with abysmal approval.

I don't give a shit which side yer on, it's all garbage in -- garbage out, bought and paid for circus ;)

I just would like some simple points by points after the speech other than the childish shit said in here. Asking a lot -- but to me it looked like pouting representatives that are completely out of touch and unwilling to at least feign a positive outcome/image. It looks bad from that angle if ya get what I'm saying... and the MSNBC/CNN/response is literally grasping for shit falling apart worse than their already shit decline. I mean its blatantly obvious to watch...

I'm just a free thinker/beer drinker/constitutional dude -- so parties be fucked, but I don't see how to spin what happened here tonight and come out lookin' good whatsoever.

Tell us more 10 year old account with only 700 posts who suddenly decided to spam the war room with anti Trump posts.

Lol

Aww how cute you reading through my post history.

It truly is a cult. Wear the red hats and own the libs.

I'm enjoying the show. See how the next 6months go. If I'm wrong and the economy is doing better (not the stock market) and the world is more peaceful than it is now then I'll message you telling you how dumb I am.

He showed them the way and everyone else cucked out. Super disappointed with the democrats. Trump clearly is destroying the economy and the social safety net. Dems would have an easy victory if they just fought back. So many weak leaders. It’s embarrassing, if they can’t put up a fight they need to step aside for someone that can. The moment is just too important

Positive message? I thought Trump's whole speech had an extremely partisan and negative tone. I don't personally think tonight moved the needle in any direction, historically these speeches never do. Trump supporters loved the speech, and non supporters hated it. That's kind of how it goes I feel like.

Stocks hitting the shitter, though futures give a glimmer of hope; cost of goods rising exponentially; a down job market as jobs are cut without true oversight; a potential presidential crypto pump and dump from the top rope of politics; alienating allies in a worthless dick measuring contest; cosying up to Russia... none of it matters.

Because got damn, did that speech own the libs and resonate with his base, lol.

Even CNN is having to admit that Trump is widely popular and is doing a fantastic job. The only people who disapproved of his speech were the racist democrats who were disgusted that a black child with cancer was honored.
