Hard to follow this one on only one side, but generally, Mir has a really odd group of fans. Not just KONE. We shall see. I've been saying for years that Duffee would crush Mir (earliest I can find is 2010, when I was saying that Duffee could have beaten the same competition Lesnar did), and people have attacked me for it.

Let me make it clear that I'm not super impressed with Duffee, but I think he'll crush Mir and would have a good chance against a lot of top-10 HWs (AA, Hunt, Browne Rothwell--hard for me to say Overeem given how their actual fight went, but he'd have a chance).

If Duffee is all the way back from his issues, he should run through Mir.

Hard to say where Duffee stands at this point. If he can get back to where he was when he fought Russow, he beats any version of Mir.

That one was brought on by me using a quote from that guy in my sig. Something like, "saying that Fedor would walk-through a top 5 HW like Sylvia is a clear sign of bias." And the same guy said that no one ever called Sylvia a top 5 HW. So he kind of mined for something, and that was the best he could come up with. I don't think it would even be a controversial statement now, but that was before Cain emerged as a great HW.

i wasnt aware that happened, iv only ever seen popped elbows in 7 years of bjj. The way your arm is naturally shaped/made the elbow is the weakest link and the first thing to go and most people will tap when their elbow is popped. Maybe cause its ufc they hold off on tapping longer, who knows, it definitely isnt common or normal

My Great Great Uncle was a catch wrestler. They usually attached the forearm or shin with a hold intended to break the bone instantly. Catch wrestlers were side show attractions in the circus at the beginning of then last century. They would injure random locals to demonstrate their strength and attract people in the next town.

It's difficult to use these moves in Jiu-jitsu practice due to the fact that these bones can be broken with little pressue.
